Sa accent ko, 5k pms costs around 2-3k. Then mga 7-8k yung 10k kms na minor maintenance. Major maintenance will set you back 13-18k.
Just keep in mind, the selling point of the Accent hatch is the powerful & frugal diesel engine. No climate control, steering wheel controls, no center console, no alloy wheels, no HUD, no GPS... If you want to go AT, go for the 7 speed DCT instead. More powerful than the MT
happy new year sa lahat.
na achieve ko na ang 2.3 l/100 km consumption based sa dashboard fuel consumption. a hiway drive from ibaan star tollway up to exit in slex sa nichols at a top speed of 100km.
thanks..
I sold my 6 yr old 1.3e m/t vios. Once a year lang casa PMS. Used mineral oil, paid around 980-3500 per visit. Low mileage, once spending over 3th kasi pinalitan yung spark plugs to better iridium spec.
Sold the car because of safety concerns. I realized that life is more important. Sometimes, you got hit by other irresponsible drivers on the road.
yan din ang disadvantage ng diesel engine, mataas ang maintenance cost comparing sa gasoline engine. and to be fair, mura talaga ang pricing ng toyota compairing sa hyundai..
Mga sir, our family just got an accent hatch.. 2 weeks ago, nung 5 kaming sakay sumasayad Sa humps.. What would you guys suggest.. Already called my dealer and ask them to replaced the rear shocks with gas type.. Sabi sakin I need to buy that as an extra accesory..
What would you guys suggest? Quick Lift, change tires? Or shocks?
Since I travel STAR tollway weekly using my hatch, the route from Ibaan to SLEX is downhill. 1.8L/100kms is easily attainable. Try measuring the FC from SLEX to Ibaan & you'd most likely get 5+ since it is mostly uphill. Dapat flattest road possible. That translates to 55kms/lit, a figure HARI got in their test run which is not a real world figure.
...like my old sentra.
the cheapest solution would be to take them humps, slowly. which is what humps were designed to do, anyway.
another cheap solution would be to limit the number of passengers.
or, if you are really bothered... you can try the gadgets already mentioned above.
in my experience... the first instance was a surprise. the subsequent ones ... were turning into a joke..
i inspected the underside, and determined that there was nothing vital underneath the area that scraped.. pinabayaan na lang namin.. very predictable naman kung sasayad o hinde..
it lasted until we sold the car, 13 years later..
no big deal, really.
