Mga bossing.. May nakapag-pa-install na ba sa inyo ng dedicated DRL for your unit? The one that comes with our unit (2014 model) isn't bright enough kasi during day time, except kapag makulimlim na. Or baka hindi kasi talaga DRL yun, since kapag nag-turn on ka pati yung tailgate light and light sa plate number nag-o-on din. Baka may ma-refer kayo sakin kung saan pwede para magpa-install ako. salamat ng marami!

Sir athan afaik yung LEDs natin are actually park lights and not DRLs. Nung tinignan ko yung manual natin it seems the DRLs are supposedly integrated with the fog lamps. Di pa ako nakakakita ng DRLs for accent dito. Mahal masyado pag sa casa.

Thanks sir airolynx. Just as i thought, kaya pala hindi sya ganun kaliwanag. Mag-inquire nga ako sa casa sa next pms ko kung magkano pa-install ng ganun.

I already contacted Gary of hidretrofit. Hindi pala pwede i-adjust yung intensity/brightness level ng OEM DRLs, kasi masisira daw agad. Anyway, pagisipan ko muna kung magpalagay ako ng DRL sa may foglight or ipa-re-wire ko na lang yung nasa headlight.

Thanks sir! Ganda din pala. Kaso sayang yung foglight ko now, kasi papalitan pala yung buong foglight ng may kasamang DRL. Isip-isip muna ako..

Guys, share ko lang. For those with HBs with Manual Transmission, I was first worried when our rides reach high mileage and the time comes to replace the clutch that we need to replace the Dual Mass Flywheel as well. Reading the Kia Carens forum, the Dual Mass Flywheel costs a fortune to replace (upwards of 40k). I did some research online and found this site:

It appears that the Accent Hatch's engine - same as the Kia Ceed (U2 1.6 CRDI) is NOT fitted with a DMF. Ibig sabihin when we replace the clutch when the time comes, di natin yun kailangan palitan - that will translate to lower costs. That also means hindi siya basta basta magiging sakit ng ulo ing the future. I plan to keep this ride for about 10 years or so.

Feel free to share your thoughts.

Hi mga ka-tsikot,

pansin ko sa HB natin na facelifted version, yung head lights nya merong eye-line tulad ng sa bagong Tucson (please refer to the attached image). But hindi umiilaw. May alam ba kayong shop na pwedeng maglagay ng lights behind this eye-line para mag-glow sya? thanks!

Planning to buy Accent HB CRDI.Ask ko lang po kung pang ilang version na itong HB CRDI 2015.
Wala palang ABS at di naka wheel alloy ang 1.6E unlike sa 1.6L meron including LCD pero sabi ng SA eh wala na raw na lumalabas ng 1.6L.
Ok na po ba ang mga freebies na ito for HB 1.6E (CRDI), free 3yrs LTO reg, tint, floor mats, seatcover, vip cards, 24 hrs roadassist. 10% discount on labor then may 20K discount (even for terms) for approval nga lang ang GPS LCD camera (worth 50K). kindly add kung meron pa akong ibang pwedeng. TIA

For me, kung makukuha mo na free yung GPS and LCD camera na worth 50k, ok na offer yan. ako 50k cash discount lang plus yung usual na freebies na binanggit mo sa taas and discount sa foglights, 3M tint, and rain guard. check mo din interest rate, baka dun ka tinataga. I suggest mag-bank loan ka, check mo lahat ng interest rate nila then kunin mo pinaka-mababa. based sa experience ko, pwede ka din mag-haggle ng interest rate sa bank.

Many thanks sa reply sir. Accent attracts me because of FC nya at ang mga freebies lalo na kung talagang ibibigay ang GPS, but i doubt kasi thru Bank. Honestly, mas nagandahan ako sa 2013 model nya coz naka ABS na sya at na ka wheel alloy pa unlike this new version 2015 with almost the same price . I read all the pages sa thread na ito and it helps me a lot, kaya malaking inputs sa akin.
