Oo nga eh. And according dun sa sales agent na natanungan ko, ang change lang dun sa 2014 model is meron signal light na naka embed dun sa side mirror na LED. I guess ito yung mga nakikita natin sa mga Expedition and some models ng Adventure.

Hello again, friends I have several questions about the accent hatch (1.6 diesel mt) and would very much appreciate your suggestions and replies.

Gearing up and down:
I got my unit bnew about 2 weeks ago, and when i first tried it, i was surprised to see that it didn't behave like our old toyota corolla. Every time i shifted the gear and slowly released the clutch, the car accelerated even if i didn't step on the accelerator ... It only stops accelerating when it reaches the ideal speed for the gear. This went on for several days and i was told that it was normal for new cars to do that. Car salesman said it was because of the accent's excellent torque. I was skeptical. Now the accent continues to do that but it always warns me to shift down every time it accelerates on its own so i end up shifting down and the rpm goes up or car slows down, naturally. Should i follow the computer? What are the ideal km/h for each gear? Do you use the sixth gear in city driving?

Horn:
My horn has this weird "piyok" and it is generally wimpy. it reminds me of the sound of our old car's horn each time it gets wet. Is that a defect?

Accessories:
We want to install a gps tracker in an inconspicuous area in case we decide to have it driven for uber or grab car. Will that void our warranty? Is it possible to bring it to the casa so they can install the accessories? They are asking for about 5k for parking sensors which i think is a bit over priced considering you only get a beeping sound as feedback, no visuals on the rear view mirror as in most cheaper sensors. I also want to install OEM fog lamps. And side mirror repeaters. Is it ok to buy the parts and have the casa install them so as not to void the warranty?

Diesel:
Is Shell FuelSave ok? Will i benefit more in terms of fuel economy with the more expensive VPower or other brand?

Hi Hazel. I can just answer a couple of your questions. The acceleration you observe is an effect of the car's high torque output. You can even accelerate to 40 kms/hr, shifting up, without even stepping on the gas pedal. It is more noticeable in the mornings when the engine is cold. Eventually, you'll get used to it. Just follow the shift indicator for better fuel economy. As for the fuel, I personally use Total excellium diesel since I noticed better performance with it. I came from using Shell Fuel save & I think it is also a very good fuel. I'd stay away from Unioil since umusok sasakyan ko

Excellium is a bit more expensive than Fuel Save but fuel is cheap nowadays so OK lang. For me if you choose to use regular diesel, Fuel Save is good. If you choose to use premium diesel, Excellium is better than Nitro Diesel. Just my opinion, ha?

Pwede mo sundin yung computer kung gusto mo ma-obtain yung magandang fuel consumption pero hindi sa lahat ng oras eh kailangan mo yan sundin, for example while overtaking. Experience ko kasi while overtaking, gusto na nya magShift to higher gear pero sa pakiramdam mo naman eh mabibitin ka pag nag-Shift ka so hindi ko sinusunod and I already turned off yung indicator nya, napapatingin lang kasi ako lagi dun eh.

For horn, I already replace the stock with Bosch Ec6. The stock horn sounds like "meep meep", and malakas pa busina ng motor ko.

Sa palagay ko sa accessories, void yung warranty basta hindi sa casa nagpakabit at yung mga accessories sa casa sobrang mahal kesa sa labas ka kukuha. Kung GPS papalagas mo sa labas malamang electrical warranty lang maVoid sayu, kung engine magkaproblema maaaring under warranty pa din yun. Yung foglight ko sa labas na ng casa ako kumuha, ang mahal kasi masyado sa casa. So far naman sa 1year and 3 mos used, okay pa naman yung buga ng ilaw at yung casing nya. BTW, DLAA brand nun.

For fuel, wala naman problema yung Shell Fuel Save sa unit ko, pagkalabas ng casa, Fuel Save na kinakarga ko dun then kanina nagShift ako sa V-Power Nitro+ Diesel since mejo mura na naman yung price nya, parang pakiramdam ko mas dumulas yung hatak nya sa Nitro+. Will observed further.

For leather seats (genuine) no idea kung magkano, leatherette lang pinalagay ko, 5k score ko.

Kahit alin jan sa dalawa bro, ayos na ayos. Unique/Rare yung makikita mo sa daan na ganyan ang kulay. Veloster Red sakin eh, fave color lang. For me, I would pick Red then Sonic Silver (kung ito nga yung parang dark gray) then Blue.

Ako rin . Carbon Grey talaga gusto ko kasi wala na. Kaya sonic silver nalang. Ganda rin kasi ng kulay ng Dazzling blue. Mas malinis at makinang. :charing:

Question naman, meron ba sa inyo nakaencounter na parang may clicking sound when you release the clutch? It also happens minsan kapag nagaaccelerate ung accent ko.

Around 36k mileage na pala ako fyi.
