    I'm planning to get a Hyundai Accent Hatchback Diesel MT but im torn between the 2013 model and the 2014 facelifted model. Below are the salient points present in the 2 models.

    2013 accent hb
    - 4 spoke steering wheel w/ tilt adjustment and audio control.
    - rear and front ventilated solid disc
    - drivers side srs airbag only
    - abs with ebd
    - deluxe console
    - front map lamps
    - jvc player ordinary
    - Php 768k

    2014 facelifted
    - 4 spoke steering no audio control and tilt function
    - front solid disc/rear drum brakes
    - bi function projection type headlight with auto light control
    - dual front srs airbag
    - no abs ans ebd
    - inregrated audio system
    - Php 808k

    If you are going to choose? Which one?

    Are the points stated above factual po? Kc yan po pinadala ng SA.

    Sa mga nakabili na po kmusta experience po nyo sa unit nyo?

    2013 ako. They removed the important features like rear disc, abs, ebd. They just put in a nice HU and projector lamps and charged higher for it.

    Yes, he is selling the crossbars only, but his rfs is he sold his accent. I'm guessing the poster is curious why the seller sold his accent.

    I finally took the plunge and got myself one, a white AT Hatchback. It's less than two weeks old, so I haven't logged that many kilometers on it yet, but thought I answer my own questions for those who may be interested:

    1. I'm not sure, but I don't think it has an intercooler. It does apparently have an EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) cooler, which is not necessarily the same thing;
    2. Power steering is electronic/motor driven;
    3. Hmmm...haven't timed it myself. No place to drive it to 100 kph safely in the Metro...
    4. Haven't done many curves at speed, but it seems to corner reasonably flat;
    5. It's pretty comfortable, even over broken pavement, and even with the low profile 195/50R16 Kumho tires;
    6. With only the driver, hitting humps is not an issue. Haven't tried it with a full load of passengers though. Ground clearance is 147 mm, which is about 18 mm smaller than my i10;
    7. AC performs well. If you turn back the thermostat way back (into the red) the recirculate light and A/C light automatically turn off. If you turn it to max cooling (into the blue), the recirculate and A/C automatically turn on;
    8. Sadly, no;
    9. It's reasonably easy to park, but rear visibility through the rear window is pretty dismal. You have to rely on the side mirrors a lot;
    10. If you put your right foot down, you'll leave most vehicles behind.

    Still getting used to the following:

    1. Low and reclined driving position. When I sit upright I hardly have any headroom (I'm 5'9");
    2. Getting a feel for the front corners when maneuvering in tight places (like parking ramps and such);
    3. Poor rear visibility. This car could really use a reversing camera or backup sensors. I didn't spend on them though;
    4. Finding Euro IV diesel. Not many Unioil stations in my usual routes.

    I love the whole package. Stylish, practical, powerful, efficient. Just getting used to the quirks.
    In response to #1...I stand 5'9" too and I don't find lack of headroom a problem. There is the lever for seat heightadjustment on the left side of the seat. Hope this helps.

    #4: I was quite worried about that myself in the beginning since Euro4 fuels are not available in our area. However, I was informed by the SA of the casa that our cars are already re-tuned for use with non-euro 4 compliant diesel fuel. I've done 15k+ kms so far and everything seems to be fine.

    Recently had my rear shocks replaced....covered by warranty and some other suspension parts in front.

    This hatchback of ours is a real value for money vehicle that can outrun most petrol powered cars w the same engine size...in some cases, even some of those w slightly bigger displacements. I'm pretty sure you're going to have lots of FUN with your new hatchback,
