Hyundai ACCENT Hatch CRDI 1.6

Hi! I am a newbie here & find this forum very informative & interesting. I bought an accent hatch last December. Now, reading through the thread & the Hyundai Philippines webpage, I found out that the hatch has 4 variants, the 1.6E (MT & AT) & 1.6L MT & AT (the facelift version). When I got my OR-CR, it indicated a model year of 2014, although my car is the 1.6E MT (w/ abs, 4 discs, no projector hl). I would therefore assume that the 1.6L variant as not officially the 2014 model, but only a model w/ subtle differences from the E variant.

Sir how do you find the rear shocks of your unit? Is it soft? Any occurence of the malfunctioning clutch?

Just call me bloo. Regarding the clutch, no problems at 8,300 mileage. The rear shocks was an issue. Sayad ng sayad sa humps, around 5 x since I got it. I noticed that the right rear was a bit lower & there was a discernible sinking when fully loaded. I had it replaced during my 5k PMS. I fear that that thing will bottom out when I bring the family up to Baguio summer, so I had it replaced. Happy so far.

Not exactly yung brand, pero nakita ko kinuha Sa bodega, inunwrap, tapos ikinabit. Bago Ang ikinabit

Sir you mean both clutch failure and soft rear shock eh naexperience po nyo? Does this also mean that all 2013 model owners should have their units be brought to their casa for part replacement?

Mag 1 month nako naghihintay dumating sa casa yung request ko for replacement...

2weeks lang dumating shocks ko dati. first month palang pinapalitan ko na e.. yung clutch 2 weeks din dumating naman agad.. in my case kasi kasama daw sa 1st batch yung unit kaya cguro my defects..hehe.. mine is carbon gray mt..

I see. I hope yung batch ng makukuha ko na unit yung ayos na para iwas hassle. Siguro sir kayo may ari ng unit na ito.

ung sa left sir sakin. ung sa right kay sir snoot.. at ung kanya. oem mags nya.. sakin mt kaya nagpalit ako ng mags..

malamang yung makukuha mo unit sir na fixed na nila yung mga lumabas na issues nung mga naunang batch.

I see. Swerte mo sir may grey ka pa na nakuha. Yan din sana gusto ko na kulay. Anyway sir ano gamit mo na tint sa sides at sa windsheild at rear? anong shade?

yung free tint pa nakakabit sa sides at rear ko, superblack pinalagay ko.. sa windshield naman pinalagyan ko sa labas ng 3m meduim black.. papareplace ko din sides and rear with 3m superblack pag ngfade na ung free tint..hehe..

anung color pala kunin mo? maganda din pag white tapos black tints. ganda tignan.

Naubusan na ako sir ng white. Silver na lang daw po natitira. Yun din balak ko sir. 3m tint super black sa sides at rear tapos medium black sa harap. Tas palagyan ng glossy black sticker sa roof.

poor blue to to undergo 2~3 days diagnosis due to oil leak coming from the T/C.
I hope the problem is not that complicated because if the root cause of the problem is a defective T/C,
I need to wait for atleast a month for the replacement parts coming from Korea. Is there anyone of you experienced
the same problem from other Hyundai CRDI cars? Btw Blue is only 10 months old with 10K mileage.
