Question mga Sirs ok lang ba ang diesel CRDI VGT for short trips? I normally drive about 10KM daily lang.

I drive a total of 14k daily, back and forth. What kind of okay are you thinking about? For me okay na okay ang katipiran, yung full tank ko almost 2 weeks inaabot.

Ahh, yung drive ko kasi is 10KM no traffic (2-way na to), so it takes me just about 5-10 mins to get to the office and 5 - 10 mins to get back home. I heard CRDis kelangan mag init muna makina, with that short amount of time, is it detrimental sa diesel engine na to in the long run?

waiting for a minute to warm up is ok na. saka meron naman sensor before starting the engine.

para sa akin diesel or gas talagang winawarm up ko muna bago tumakbo especially in the morning pero with the advent of newer technology some old school beliefs are meant to be forgotten na.

By the way Snoot, the sensor or indicator you are talking about is the glow plug light located in the left tama ba? Yung sakin mga wala pang 1 second nawawala na once I turn the key to the position before the ignition (forgot what the term is for that), and then I turn the ignition on. Is that normal?

yes sir glow pug indicator yun. yes wala pang 1 second then it goes off na. meaning car is ok to start na. yes normal

it's best to follow sop than having troubles in the end. ika nga better be safe than sorry.

good day peeps. i am planning to buy accent this coming december. maganda naman lahat ang mga nabasa kong feedback dito. ibebenta ko muna yung innova ko para pandagdag sa brand new na accent. baka may gustong bumili sa inyo o kaya ay trade in... model 2008, innova v, gasoline, captain seat, 5 ang ending ng plate... kung may interesado lang naman....

do you also find the ride ng hatch natin a bit ma tagtag ???
currently naka stock set up parin at 32psi tire pressure for all the wheels (as recommended ng dealership na binilihan namin)

I was just wondering kung palitan ko ng 55 series yung gulong baka malaki ang improvement.

just wondering lang naman kasi pag lahat na sumakay (2adults 3children) parang may mga moments na ma tag tag nga.

Ang observation ko parang malabot yun shocks pag sa cement naman na walang alon ok naman ramdam ko kasi yun lambot pag dumadaan ako sa bridge ng NLEX parang sumasagad yun bagsak ng shocks.

I was able to get an a/t hatch 2 weeks ago. Would really have been a "bang for the buck" had the shock absorbers been, even just 15-20% more firm.
Just the same, i'm happy with the hatch and would still consider this as a " best value for money" purchase below the P900K price range.

Ang observation ko parang malabot yun shocks pag sa cement naman na walang alon ok naman ramdam ko kasi yun lambot pag dumadaan ako sa bridge ng NLEX parang sumasagad yun bagsak ng shocks.

Pareho experience natin... ako din naman (and higit sa lahat, the mrs is happy) very happy with the car.
but sana nga lang mayroon sila solution to the shocks
akala ko ako lang nakapansin...

Aside sa malabot na rear suspension, which is common issue na nabababasa ko for the HB Accent, does the hatchback AT variant also has the "tik tik" or knocking issue, which I think is an issue with the MT variant? TIA

Sir mukang gas variant ang tinutukoy mo, walang knocking issue ang diesel variant isa pa walang gas na hatchback, puro diesel

Thanks sa response boss.. so ung suspension lng ang problema sa hatchback.. mas madali solusyunan..
