HMC recalls 220,000 Santa Fe and Sonata units. This news from Seoul by Reuters though it mentioned sa US lang. Covered ng recall are Sonata sedans manufactured from Jan 24 to Jun 21 this year. Better ask local dealers

Oh yeah guys, Aldrich has organized a mini-EB of Sonata members. We're gonna meet up on Lucky Tea (sa Banawe) on Thursday night around 8pm. Anybody with a Sonata is welcome to join us! (yeah, you'll see Banawe with at least 3 Sonatas littered at that time.. rarity to the eyes )

The problem with the Sonata that I encountered was with the middle of the car sometimes scraping when going down ramps (dahil nga mahaba wheelbase).

Another source of sayad problems can arise from long front overhangs.

actually yung mga humps hindi naman problema. mas yung mga ramps sa parking na sobrang tarik. since mahaba yung car, before pa makasampa yung rear wheels sa tuktok nung ramp, sumasayad na. medyo mataas naman yung ground clearance, mahaba lang talaga yung mga mid size

+1000. i actually think that the only improvement you can make to the sonata to make it look better is to change the wheels. nakakainis pag nakakakita ako ng mga binaduy na sonata na tadtad ng LEDs na nagb-blink at iba't ibang kulay

may nakita na ako several na pangit:

1.) DRL sa headlights. DRL pa sa Foglights. LED Blinkers sa lower grille (all at the same time!) + LED blinking rear fogs (lahat pa naka-on at the same time). Christmas themed sonata
2.) Chrome sa headlights + taillights
3) Windshield visor sticker ng kung anong "team". (no offense sa may ganun but it just ruins the sleek look of the car)
