Dapat talaga nag hoard na ako nyan nung nag sale or maybe nagkamali ng pricing? yung S&R. 400+ lang sya dati. Sayang. 😛

    1.) Motul CRDi Specific 5w-40 from S&R.

Can't go wrong with either 30 or 40 weight, 30 weight can potentially give you more FE, 40 weight will potentially resist shear longer.

2.) Motul Multi ATF from Autoplus

You'll see that it meets Hyundai Red-1 specs here:

Ganda ng Motul no?
Thanks sir. Ano yung FE and resist shear longer? lol. sorry ha, newbie lang

Nice! Motul ATF is indeed Red-1 as seen in the spec sheet! Sana meron din sya sa S&R para isang bilihan nalang with the Oil.

Pero sabagay, minsan lang naman ang ATF dialysis so I guess pwedeng puntahan nalang mismo yung Autoplus.

Update: I just called Autoplus and they told me that the Motul Multi ATF is priced at P1,440/liter (OUCH) - and it's out of stock. Mga october+ pa daw ang dating.

Around how many liters ba kaya ang kailangan kung papa dialysis ko? (FYI - Dialysis labor cost sa Autoplus is P1,950) - mas mura sa Fronte and sa Servitek.

If price is not a concern, what is the best given na available sya sa pinas:

    1) Fully Synthetic Engine Oil (minimum CH-4 spec) - is this right?
    2) ATF (minimum Red-1 spec)
    3) Brake Pads
    4) Brake Rotors
    5) Shock Absorber (Best = lambot ng ride and not sa tibay)
    6) Tires (Best = lambot ng ride)

    Thanks
You can use Castrol transmax multi vehicle ATF for the GS. That's what a few tsikoteers are using here including myself. Red-1 of hyundai and Kia is equivalent to Nissan matic-J. Castrol meets both. Around 330php/liter iirc.
I emailed Castrol philippines for a dealer near me. visit mo website nila. Tel: +63 (2) 884 1478; contact*castrol.com.ph

sir, where can I buy the Baldwin oil filter and how much? Also, why is it better than stock oem filter? Thanks

Ok lang yan sir kahit 30 or 40 wt if you change oil at 10Tkms or less. Potentially mas matagal mag shear to a lighter weight yung 40 kasi mas malapot sya pero in theory lang.

Re: Motul ATF yup ginto talaga. Sabi mo kasi sir if cost is not an issue hehe. I also use Castrol transmax multi vehicle on the GS because it is cheap.

Will try Zic on the GS for the next ATF change.

Just had the 5k checkup of our HARI GS sa Hyundai Pasig.

I bought it from a seller on OLX, Baldwin has superior filtration properties compared to the original oil filter

    1. I use Zic x7000 CI-4 fully synthetic diesel oil, paired with original or sometimes baldwin. Kapag Baldwin pinaabot ko 7k kms. Pero pag original filter 5k kms lang.
    2. ATF, i use ZiC fully synthetic SP-IV. I called Hyundai about this one, they told me na SP-IV daw gamit ng casa nila. Sa Hyundai Sucat to.
    3. Brake pads, original lang gamit ko. But will try Brembo OEM next time.
    4. Rotors, never replaced pero baka original na lang din for confidence.
    5. Shocks, KYB yata okay din.
    6. Tires Kumho Portran KC53 gamit ko. Yung Nexen ko noon nag oblong kaagad.

I would still choose GS anyday kaysa sa mga Hiace.

Time really flies, 8 years na pala yung GS ko, no immediate plans of replacing it as of now. Papalitan ko lang yan kung mag labas ng bagong Starex or Hiace, pero balita ko sa next gen Hiace sa harap na daw ang engine, if that is the case I'm leaning towards the Hiace, although ok naman ang Starex, talagang mas matibay pa rin ang Hiace

Before kasi sir ganyan din ako, i just ask the CASA pero i had a bad experience where I asked several CASAs and they replied with different answers LOL. Kaya for me, mas ok nalang to stick with what's written in the service manual

Looking for floormats for the GS. Are there ready made ones for the GS? Or they have to be custom made?

Maganda sana yung Hippo Techmat brand. Or any brand that has the same design.

Pati nga fully synthetic engine oil may gumagamit ng 5w-40 (most) and 5w-30 (sucat branch).

I think the atf used by TCI 4at is different from the atf used by VGT 5at.

Kaya minsan mas maganda magtanong sa forum kaysa sa casa.
Re ATF, nagresearch din ako for the appolloil red-1.
Zic yata is at 450 and not sure if red-1.
Red-1 is under subaru.
