mga bossing, ask ko lang sana kung anong mas maganda sa pagbe-break in?kasi d ba during break in eh knukundisyon palang ang makina(paki-correct po ako kung mali ang intindi ko),so i think it would better kung long driving, para pumalo naman ng kwarta ang gear para sa A/T.sa sobrang trapik kasi sa amin eh hindi umaakyat ng 4th gear ang sasakyan.may magiging pangit na effect po ba ito?do you have any ideas or suggestions po.at kapag break in po,ok lang bang patakbuhin ng mabilis naman ang sasakyan or we have to follow a certain limit sa speed?parang ang ganda kasing itakbo dun sa STLEX eh,wala pa masyadong sasakyan doon.share ur ideas nalang po.tnx.

    hello, bago po s forum!!

Kung matutuloy po kasi, this is going to be my 1st car! Actually our first car ng 2 ko pang kapatid hehe...tho 2 ate ko un na d pa marunong mag drive, so aq tlga ang ggmit! :D We have a car pero dad ko lang lagi ang nagamit pag pumapasok, so excited na tlga ako mag karon ng sariling kotse... Anyway, galing kaming Hyundai LP yesterday and test drive the i10, its quiet roomy for a small car tlaga! I wasnt expecting a lot nun, pero it was a nice experience! Gusto ko ung pag steer nya ang dali! and the interior was simple and smooth which i really like! ayoko lang nung radio sa M/T, tho mas ok kasi ang M/T since baguhan pa rn aqng driver and kumpleto na sa accessories and m/t..tho klngan ko pa tlga mag aral ng hanging hehe namamatayan tlga aq pag ganun...hrr sayang :D

anyway e2 pala ung offer sa min:

98k d/payment (wala pa ata ung chattel, pero me LTO reg na, free matting, tint, seat cover) 9+k monthly for 5 years..

We already reserve for an oyster gray i10 and i cant wait for it na!! :D

Pag umilaw na yung gasoline indicator thats the time mag fill up ako ng gas, i take note of how many liters ang kinarga and reset may tripmeter to zero. Then pag umilaw na ulit at ubos na, i divide the km consumed with the liters filled before.

Actually, mauubos na in few days yung gas ako, as of yesterday nasa 8.4 km/liter na sya.

I cannot comment sa manual transmission. Yung odometer ko nasa 600 km + na. I also agree na hindi talaga masyadong issue if break in period or within 5,000. Sabi nga sa manual, no need to break in nga... so I think not much difference yun.

But I 10 is really a good car except for the f/c.. so far ok sya but im not so sure sa durability lang kasi, this is my first time to acquire hyundai car.

    Happy motoring guys...
sir, i find it unbelievable for you to get 8.4 km/liter, kahit city driving pa, masyadong mababa. baka naman mali ang pag-compute mo sir. i've surfed the internet and they usually get 46.3 to 56.5 mpg or 19.7 to 24.0 km/liter. see the links:

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/motoring/...it/mfhyu31.xml

    http://www.channel4.com/4car/rt/hyundai/i10/18380/2

can you describe your driving conditions and your style of driving. for a 1.1 liter engine, 8.4 km/liter is too much. thanks.

arms, no offense sir but can you post a pic of your i10 to prove you really own one. i read your posts and somewhat you've only had negative things to say about your brand new car. rattling sounds, poor fuel consumption, dissapointing dealer, saying "good luck na lang sa mga new buyers, think twice" and "lesson learned, don't buy low-end cars".......i've read a lot of good reviews about this car, topgear included. pasensya na sir ha. nagdududa lang ako if you really own one

anyways back to the i10 discussion.

Drove the i10 yesterday sunday from taytay-taguig passed by C5

City driving - This is where this baby shines a true city car, my favorite about the i10 is parking di na kailangan i maniobra isang turn lang sa parking shoot agad. Cornering on city roads very easy.

here are addtional pics of my car. wala pa ring plates bad trip.
