Eto ang alam ko sa fluids ng tsikot (based on my Revo maintenance):
    - Engine oil change every 5K kms (if mineral or semi-synth). 10K kms if fully synth.
    - ATF change every 40K kms.
    - Gear oil change every 40K kms.
    - Power steering fluid change every 40K kms.
    - Brake fluid change (bleed and refill) every 40K kms.
    - Radiator flush every 40K kms (if using long life coolant).

Not sure kung same ang MDPS at EPS, pero baka wala nang power steering fluid ang i10?

Suggest ko sundan mo lang yung 5K kms PMS schedule ng Hyundai, para intact ang 100K kms or 5-year warranty.

Check this link, for the Hyundai PMS checklist.

8km/L on 1.1 engine.. there's something wrong on this engine .. even on break-in period.. hindi dapat ganon.. O.T.* i have a 2.5 diesel engine my FC here is 9 to 10km/l on city driving while my 1.6 gas engine is 8 to 9km/l on city driving.. mas matipid pa vios na 1.3 almost same price lang..

I've been driving Marten the entire week, and have computed my FC at 12.5km/liter. This includes city driving (EDSA/Commonwealth) and highway-driving (Coastal Road) at ave speed of 60-70km/hr. I am using Shell's E10 fuel since day 1 of acquiring this M/T vehicle.

I'll keep on monitoring it and update this info.

Just finished testing my i10's FC medyo ok naman nakuha ko naubos ko din yung free gas na shell unleaded pina full tank ko na with petron xtra unleaded, FC ko is 13.8 km/l I hope it still improves kasi below 5,000 km's pa lang. Goal ko for efficiency in city driving is around 15-18km/l.

    Ride: Hyundai I10
    Transmission: MT
    Year: 2008
    Displacement: 1.1L (Gas)
    Fuel Consumption:
    City: 13.8 km/l
Highway: No Data(I passed by C5 pero approximately 2km's lang)
    Petrol: Petron Xtra Unleaded

    Driving style ko.

    1) I let the car accelerate efficiently and not force the car to go fast during full stops, changing gears at 2k-3k rpm.

    2) if the road permits I drive constant at 80km at 2k rpm

    3) no to jack rabbit start and stop.

    4) aircon 2 ticks to the cool side and kapag mainit full blast.

    5) let the car roll on neutral on flat roads while braking up to full stop.

Kung racer type ka medyo mahihirapan ka nga makakuha ng magandang FC and guaranteed this car is not for you. Mag evo X ka or Subaru STI if you want to race and don't buy the I10.

since break-in period pa naman, that's good FC na at 13.8km/liter. AT yun sa yo dba? but if it's M/T, parang malakas pa din.

my 9 year-old AWD SUV M/T gets 10-11km/liter mixed city when i follow the tipid tips, shifting when reaching 2krpm and not going over 2krpm unless 5th gear na.
pero sobrang tiis and discipline 'to, usad pagong ka sa kalye when you monitor the rpm. usually, even revving jeepneys make you feel so slow.

My I10 is manual, 13.8 km/l is really good and reasonable since it's still less than 1k in the odo and day driving mostly yung FC test kaya full blast yung aircon and init kasi lately, kung pinatay ko siguro aircon during the entire FC test baka nag 14-15+ km/l pa.

but my target for mixed city driving is 15-18 km/l. All highway target ko siguro 20+ km/l

to the person who posted the 8km/L FC, please double check and verify naman po kasi marami ng natatakot dito, hehe. baka sakali lang po na may mali sa computation or method ng pagkuha ng FC mo.

12-14km/L is a more realistic figure. when the kia pride was launched, it was advertised with 11km/L from it's 8-valve carburetor 1.0 engine.

by the way, ano opinion nyo sa Getz 1.1 vs i10? The Getz is roomier, a bit bigger, more conservative in styling and 10k cheaper.

Pag umilaw na yung gasoline indicator thats the time mag fill up ako ng gas, i take note of how many liters ang kinarga and reset may tripmeter to zero. Then pag umilaw na ulit at ubos na, i divide the km consumed with the liters filled before.

Actually, mauubos na in few days yung gas ako, as of yesterday nasa 8.4 km/liter na sya.

I cannot comment sa manual transmission. Yung odometer ko nasa 600 km + na. I also agree na hindi talaga masyadong issue if break in period or within 5,000. Sabi nga sa manual, no need to break in nga... so I think not much difference yun.

But I 10 is really a good car except for the f/c.. so far ok sya but im not so sure sa durability lang kasi, this is my first time to acquire hyundai car.

    Happy motoring guys...

i10 AT = cash out ko is 80,700 (15% of the amount) then 11,706 (for 60 months or 5 yrs) or 13,494 (for 48 months or 4yrs) kwentahin natin.

    sa five years = 11,706 * 60 = 702,360 + 80,700(down payment) = 783060 - 538,000 (cash price nya) = 200060 (interest mo in 5 yrs) (37%)

napakalaki ng interest while Mazda is 25% lang in 5 yrs ang interest at same din ang FC 8-9kms/liter..

if this is the case then it looks like the i10's engine seems overworked talaga with an AT tranny. i test drove the i10 AT, and pansin ko ok naman acceleration sa 1st and 2nd gear, pero pagpalo ng 3rd gear or around 6okm/h, i had to depress the pedal a lot more to get some acceleratation. note: 4 ang sakay during the test drive (driver + 3 passengers) tapos todo aircon.

personally, i'm considering the MT, kasi miss ko ng "mag-sagwan" ng kambyo and parang ang saya ng MT on a tiny car, hehe. i'm even thinking of replacing the muffler para may ipit na harurot na tunog, haha! ang kulit siguro nun...

Pag compute ko ng FC ng i10 full tank automatic fill at the same gas station and same gas pump para medyo close yung reading.

1st - Full tank automatic stop then write down kung ilang kilometers siya nung nag pa full tank ako.

2nd - Kapag time na for gas ulit or kapag naka half na, full tank ulit ako. write down ulit kung ilang kms ang natakbo ko since the last full tank. Then look at the receipt to check on how many liters of fuel was put in the car during this 2nd full tank.

    Tapos compute.

    Sample.

ODO reading was 100 kms on the 1st full tank then nung 2nd full tank the ODO reading was 200 kms that means 100kms and tinakbo until mag pa full tank ulit ako, then check the liters of fuel that was put in the car for example 10 liters of fuel ang consumption.

    then my computation is,

    100 kms / 10 liters of fuel = 10 km/l FC.

Hope to get positive reviews on the FC of i10. It's either this or an alto.
