DIY mo na lang sir. eto share ko little secret, ako gamit ko WD40, subukan mo lang. spray mo lang onti tas watch till part of the dirt/asphalt/matcha melts away. just did that last week. works like a charm. tas wash again with water and car shampoo then wax mo na. good as new.

i havent tried kerosene pero as far a i know, corrosive ang kerosene. pero i've heard from others, it does work.

    see comparison below:

    Vic - 87% * 40 microns, 39% * 10 Microns

    Valvoline V0-106 - 98% * 20 Microns, 50% * 10 Microns

    Baldwin - 94% * 18 Microns, 90% at 10 Microns

    Fleetguard - 95% * 30 microns.

So id say from these comparisons above, you cant go wrong with the valvoline, baldwin or the fleetguard.

Heres a good read on oil filtration.

Bro, ok din ba sa jazz yung Valvoline V0-106? Binasa ko kasi konti yung "Remote bypass oil filtration" na thread parang hindi mashado nababanggit yung valvoline, madalas yung baldwin. Or dahil mas ok na brand yung baldwin?

Sir check nyo din air filter baka madumi na. Tire pressure can also have an effect on fuel economy.

Or kung gusto talaga smooth at malinis yung paint pwede din kerosene -> carwash -> claybar -> cleaner wax

When i had my 30k km tune up sa Speedyfix, recommended is rp 5w-30 synthetic oil, iridium plugs and baldwin filters. So far improving ang FC ko. Re Unioil gas, di ko pana try. Ao difference sa Shell??

Still using the oe bulb ng ge, pinalitan ko lang yung sa fogs ng euroline pure yellow, 3 years na buo pa naman. Kay autoline ako bumili

Sayang cant make it sa gt, kasabay ng hcp geb

There could be several factors that could contribute to low fuel efficiency. Driving style plays a big role in your gas consumption. if you have a lead foot, then chances are your fuel consumption could also be high. Start Stop traffic also is a BIG factor in low fuel efficiency, in metro manila this is normal na lang if you can, avoid extended start stop situations. this is one of the reasons i hate driving in manila. i drive here in clark so wala talaga kami traffic dito. i average 10.4 KM per liter and this is without being conscious about fuel efficiency. drive lang kung drive. kapag open road batak lang, still i have never done single digit on fuel efficiency. lowest i could remember is 10.1 KM /L. Dirty air filter could also be a factor, the less air your engine gets, the more fuel is mixed hence resulting to low fuel efficiency. with regards to using RP, i cant attest to this yet. i personally have not tried it pero it seems that from articles and reviews i've read, that RP are really good when it comes to reducing friction. I am pretty convinced with the lubricating properties of RP. I have yet to wait for the personal review of my good friend imogen and c2_fuscia re: their fuel efficiency. parehas naka RP 5w30 + Baldwin B7243 dalawang yan kaya excited na din ako sa feedback nila on the RP.

Answering your question on what are the compatible baldwins with our GE

    1. Baldwin B7243 - i have tons of these. personal stash for my GE. selling some too.
    2. Baldwin 1400 - not available
    3. Baldwin 1402 - available at volmax in binondo at 350 a pop
    4. Baldwin 1431 - not available

The Valvoline VO-106 is also very good filter. Its smaller in size compared to the Baldwins above but is not inferior in terms of filtering capability and dirt holding capacity. Service Fleet filters such are these can hold 4 times amount gunk than your regular over the counter or OEM filters. They are heavy duty.

    In terms of oil capacity:
    B7243 - approximately 400ml of oil
    VO-106 - 200ml, same as stock.
Based on the manual, total oil we need for the 1.5 L15 Engine is 3.6L with Filter, 3.4L without, so if you use the B7243, tataas yung oil requirement mo, you'll need 3.8L of oil instead of the usual 3.6L, sa Valvoline the same lang which is 3.6L lang.

Cool. I'll try kerosene next time. I just cant get my hand on any. none of the near gas stations here in my place sell them. weird right? So puro lang na kerosene o dilutted in water? Would they even mix?

Yes sir. Okay din ang Valvoline oil filters for our GE. same thread din (M20 X 1.5). Nakasulat dun sa box " Manufactured for Valvoline, a commercial unit of Ashland. These are made by Purolator. Synthetic media din ang gamit nilang filtering element. They are 95% efficient at 20 microns.
