Second Gen. Honda Jazz/Fit

Mga brothers, ask ko sana kayo how are your 2nd gen jazzes. Before i used to have the first gen GD. Happy naman ako sa 1.3 a/t ko dati. There's a little pep and definitely matipid sa gas. Now kamusta po mga units niyo? Any major issues ba na I should know, kasi I'm planning to suggest this car to my mom. Nakakamiss padin kasi talaga ang hatchback!

as to FC... ang average ko e 12.8 to 13 km/li sa city driving... so tipid ako. medyo bago pa ung unit saka may improvement pa ang driving style ko e so sa tingin ko tataas pa ung Ave kong yan

as to power, ok din siya for a 1.3 (1.3 kasi sa akin e)... just like yesterday galing ako ng bulacan. 6 kami (5 adults + 1 infant) plus luggage, no problem overtaking sa NLEX. nadala ko na rin sa tagaytay and ganun din

galing kasi ako sa normal sized sedan. as to space magugulat ka sa space na available sa 'yo. especially with the seats down...

as to safety, it has all the necessary features naman for your mom (i.e. airbags, etc)... saka unlike other hatches/subcompacts, ung driver's seat e malayo din dun sa front end.. ang haba nga ng dash e. para tuloy normal sized sedan...

Sir, care to share how you achieve 12.8 to 13 km/li city driving? Ako kasi talagang 8-9km/li lang city driving. Pero hiway driving I can get as high as 20km/li pero 80kph average yun and I can get up to 15km/li when crusing at 120kph.

12-13 km/li, Depende kasi sa pinupuntahan mo kung gano katraffic, kaya talaga maachieve ito sa city, basta hindi sobra traffic. Kailangan lang nasa pinakamababa un thermostat level ng aircon, lakasan mo na lang un fan.

sir, basta as much as possible stick to the higher gears ako plus ung light footed din talaga sa gas.

kung kayang "cruising" talagang sinasagad. for example approaching ka ng intersection o stop light, instead na mag-gas ka pa e... i-"cruise" mo na lang.. mga, pababa, etc... ung mga ganung bagay ba.. i really don't know kung may effect pero over time naiipon din ung consumption mo nun e and so far ok naman results sa akin...

ang madalas kasing route ko is shaw pasig to megamall/rob.galleria/greenhills... minsan to fairview QC...

as to aircon naman, nasa "1" lang madalas, minsan "2" kung biyahe e lunch time (kasagaran ng init)...

*meloforma - Thank you for your insights, that's a big help for me in considering the new jazz. Gusto ko talaga ng jazz kasi yung 1st gen jazz ko noon ang luwag na eh. Mas lalo pa yung 2nd gen since maslumaki pa. Btw is your 1.3 a/t or m/t?

Maluwag talaga jazz sa loob.. Pero lately napapaisip ako hindi kaya hirap aircon palamigin ang buong loob pag tirik ang araw.

Tumawag ako para mag inquire sa facelift jazz.. Pero sabi nung nakausap ko, wala daw masyado reservation sa 1.3 M/T. Sa tono pa nga ng boses nya eh parang wala talaga. Sabi nya bawas daw freebies kasi bago.. Mukhang need maghaggle for more freebies ah.. Pag hindi ako satisfied ill go with my 2nd option

siguro nga medyo mahirap ko makuha 12-13 dahil sa route ko. nakukuha ko lang to pag mixed hiway at city like pag uuwi na ng province. ang saya naman pag nakuha ko to sa pure city driving.

thanks sa tips sir! ang problem lang hindi ko magagawa yung sticking to high gears since 1.5V yung sakin. Pero considering yung mga tips mong iba I think I can improve yung FC ko. Sana kahit maabot ko muna 10-11km/li sa city driving.

Sa Honda Marikina, me price na sila ng 2011 Jazz ah.. 852K kasama dun sa quotation sa office mate ko, 10K increase from last year. Di ko alam if may unit na sila

Maluwag talaga jazz sa loob.. Pero lately napapaisip ako hindi kaya hirap aircon palamigin ang buong loob pag tirik ang araw.

wala naman akong problema sa aircon kapag ganyan kainit kaya naman saka mas makakatulong kung may tint yung vehicle mo. add pa dyan pwede ka din magpalagay ng heat insulation sa bubong, yan yung nilalagay sa bubong ng bahay.

I think so. Yung pinost ni Fast Lane was actually local honda jazz, meron kase conduction sticker at high end model nila yan. Grabe pati ba naman yung chrome grill between the hood and honda logo tinanggal na nila. Tapos nagtaas ng presyo?
