That's Honda for you. Or increase price tapos walang dadgdag sa features... Kaya they are losing sales and losing market share...

2008 Jazz = P798,000
2010 Jazz = P842,000

No changes whatsoever between 2008 and 2010... Di naman ata ganun kataas ang inflation!

Just wanna share guys. Bumili kami ni wifey ng mga gamit ni baby. Crib, mattress, drawer, etc, etc, etc...

Dami pang space. hehe. Lalo ako natuwa sa Jazz namin.

This is what I certainly miss with our old Jazz these days....

Even our GS cannot compete with this oh-so practical feature....

I went to Honda Pasig to check the new Honda Jazz.

May dagdag/bawas na nangyari.

Dagdag:
1) Price: 15k for V; 10k for S
2) Fog lamps for the V
3) USB and AUX

Bawas:
1) Electronic foldable side mirrors
2) Donut spare tire

Bawas from Thai Version:
1) Audio controls steering wheel

Malaking Boo sa Honda Philippines. The price point between the Jazz V and Altis G is already very slim. I can get the Altis G with all the extras (auto climate + audio controls with bluetooth) at 894k less 20-30k cash discount.

if the engine is cvt this time then the 15k increase is worth, as long as the side mirror is powered then retractable is not a big deal you can push/pull it manually while parking....look is always on the eye of the beholder...in this case i like it...

CVT is a tranny, not an engine.

Galing ako kanina sa Honda Laguna, wala na sa showroom and unit, tinabi muna nila, wala pa raw go signal dahil ila-launch pa. pero nagpunta kami sa likod para makita ko. Nag pa reserved na ako ng puti.

Wala na yung Power retractable side mirror, yung nakalagay na tire na reserba dito sa unit na ito ay yung stock mags and tire. pero checheck pa daw nila kung sa dadating na mga unit ay steel rim. may usb port na din, hindi ko rin type yung rear light kahit led na sya.

Well if the CVT will cause a problem later on (base on Honda's history with CVT's) then I'd rather have the automatic...

Guys question lang. Nagpa-sched ako ng 6months/10K PMS sa Honda Shaw on Wednesday. Tinanong ko kung magkano yung estimated cost sabi sakin 5K to 6K? Kasama na daw wheel balancing etc. Pag wala naman daw wheel balancing 4-5K lang.

Tumawag din ako sa Honda SPA sabi naman sakin 4.8K 10K PMS sa kanila.

Yung tropa ko naka 2010 Civic FD ang singil lang sa kanya is 2K+ for 10K PMS sa Honda QA discounted na yun kasi scheduled but ang regular price is 3+K lang.

Tama ba yung quote sakin? Nakita ko kasi sa chart nila na 3+K din for Jazz 2004 and up. Ang explanation naman sakin, hindi daw fully synthetic yung oil nun.

Sir check niyo yung sa service manual niyo kung ano yung dapat i replace at 10,000kms. Madaya yang honda spa eh kung ano ano pinapa palitan kahit wala pa sa service manual na dapat palitan. Nung nagpa 2 year PMS ako Pinapa palitan na spark plugs at Fuel Filter pero sa manual hindi pa dapat palitan yun.


Also yung wheel balancing sa Honda nasa 250 per wheel nung nag inquire ako. 50 Pesos lang yan sa labas and same lang din naman gagawin.

Imo, pros for 2011 jazz is just the front bumper ang guapo. But what I like with the 2010 jazz is power folding mirror, black/gray headlights, same rim spare tire.

HCP already has the new Jazz site up.

Interior:
+ on amber lighting
+ on adding USB
- for taking out the power folding mirrors
Exterior:
+ on new front and rear bumpers
+ on fogs
- on LED Tail style


Overall, it really is a MINOR Model Change and not worth an upgrade. The amber lighting and USB I believe is already included on the New City so there really isn't anything new except for the new bumpers and HCP taking out the cool power folding feature (This is one of the factors that lead me to buying the 2010 1.5V).
