Ang gusto ng CVT, gradual ang pag-apak sa gas, it doesn't want you to suddenly floor it. I guess sanayan lang.

Kung nababagalan ka sa acceleration, try mo na ilagay sa "S" mode imbes na "D" mode.

Mayroon nga na nagcomment na parang rubber band daw ang transmission ng Honda CVT. Aarankada na ang makina then aabante. Hindi sabay na sabay

nakikipag car pooling ako. 2x a week, I am driving a CVT Jazz Idsi. But has not used the "S" mode yet.

Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co aims to sell 32,000 units of the all-new Jazz at home and abroad this year.

“We are confident we can achieve the target, given the innovative design and impressive features. The model is a very smart choice among many customers in the region,” said president Kenji Otaka, who joined Honda executives to launch the second-generation model at a Bangkok hotel yesterday.


Honda expects that about 20,000 units will be sold locally, while the remaining 12,000 units will be exported to Australia, Malaysia and the Philippines.

The new five-door hatchback comes in three major versions: the top-of-the-line Jazz SV, the Jazz V and the Jazz S. All versions can use E20 fuel and comply with Euro 4 emissions standards.

The top-end model is priced at 695,000 baht, the mid-range one between 620,000 and 640,000 baht and the Jazz S 587,000 baht for an automatic and 550,000 baht for a manual transmission.

The new Jazz is 45,000 baht cheaper than its predecessor because of the government’s reduced excise taxes on E20-compatible cars.

Mr Otaka said the second-generation Jazz had been redesigned to achieve a sportier look, outstanding fuel economy, bigger cabin space and attractive appeal.

Pitak Pruittisarikorn, a director, said the company was targeting customers who are fashion and lifestyle trend-setters aged between 18 and 30 years old.

The new Jazz features a 1.5-litre engine that produces 120 horsepower, the highest in the subcompact segment in Thailand. It also has an advanced module audio system, USB port and audio-control switch at the steering wheel.

Local car sales last year exceeded 170,000 units, of which 51% were subcompact models. The Jazz has been the top selling five-door hatchback in the subcompact category over the past five years.

For me, hindi maingay ang CVT.

However, I noticed that when your tranny is in "R", there is this noise that you can hear even when you're inside the car.... Has anyone noticed or was aware of it?

And the lag from full stop to roll, sometimes is irritating.....

when in reverse, i do hear weird sound. in normal D mode, yeah i feel the lag, but in S, its different.

nagpunta ako sa Honda last saturday para humingi ng quotation para sa Civic 2.0.. sabi nila na baka first week ng august ang launching ng new Jazz.

mas malaki daw talaga pero mahal din. baka daw umabot sa price ng Civic yung top of the line

^^ doubt it will be as the same price range of the civic... magkakaoverlap sila sa sales of the two variants.

panalo! ibig sabihin bababa na yung resale value ng current jazz. well thats if it exceeds expectation of the jazz market.
