    Here's the link:

    Enjoy!

Here are some of my mods to my GE that made it much more enjoyable to drive.

    1. White Perforated Seat Cover and OEM Armrest

The white seat cover just make the interior that much brighter and the Armrest is great on long drives

    2. Spoon Wide Rear View Mirror

The wide rear view mirror is tinted blue making it glare free - especially useful against HID lights.

    3. Drivewear Lenses

It's a polarized transition lenses that reduces glare, reflections, and increases color contrast. The amber lens make everything looks like being bath in soft golden sunshine. I wear these glasses and I am a happy man. =)

    4. Retro Fit Projector HID

Bright lights and the it's retro fitted so I don't blind incoming vehicles.

    5. Flyaudio Headunit (GPS/DVD/MP3/IPOD)

OEM looking Headunit. (Seen above with the GPS.) Before I had this, I also installed a pair of Focal 165 speakers in front and the oem speakers at the rear. They sounded thin. The Flyaudio round out the sound nicely. So if you want nicer sound, change the headunit.

    6. Footwell Led light Strips

I bought a couple of LED light strips and installed them around the footwells and compartment.

P.S. Btw, I am also using the 3M Mats made for the GE. Nice mats.

    7. Pivot Throttle Controller

When traffic is bumper-to-bumper and you need to make singit, the throttle controller in sports mode is a life saver and so much fun. (The picture is showing the controller in Eco mode.)

    8. D1 Spec Earthing and Volt Controller - Stabilizer

Well, I am one of those unfortunate guys who always seem to be stuck with cars whose battery is just about to give up. It's really no fun to be stuck with a drained battery in the middle of nowhere.

This puppy, aside from being an stabilizer also gives a readout of the battery. Now I now when I should be changing my battery. =)

I am thinking if I should install sound deadener or not - something like Dynamat - to make the ride quieter.

I considered the usual change of exhaust/filter/et al but the performance gains seem to be minimal. I also thought of turbo/super-chargers but the dyno readouts weren't impressive and/or the GE engine wasn't build to take that kind of stress. Which is why my modifications just centered on making it more enjoyable to use instead of doing performance type of mods.

share ko lang experience with the recent FC improvements on my GE 1.5. i intentionally posted this here instead sa honda fuel consumption database just to share to other GE afficionados.

btw, with regards to my driving habits, im very light footed on the accelerator, conscious lang talaga ko sa FC lalo kapag tumataas ng 49/ltr na ang gas. hehe.

based on meter readings, dati kase 9.1, 8.1 and 8.5 km/ltr. i got these numbers relying on full auto "D". I just let the engine do its work while I step on the accelerator.

then kahapon lang and until this morning, i tried using the paddle shifters while on "D". what I did was to shift to higher gears quicker than what the auto "D" does. i shift the gear just before 2000rpm. and i was impressed with immediate improvement which is now at 10.5km/ltr. this is pure city driving btw.

based on my initial observation, my fuel gauge which is now at 3/4 level already made a trip of 100+km. i'll wait and see what the actual FC results on my next gas refill kung nagimprove nga talaga.

Nope. Mine didn't smell at all. You probably want to have your aircon filter checked.

Sir naka-on po ba aircon nyo most of the time?

Try nyo i-off yung a/c then just let the blower run for at least 3 or 5 minutes before kayo mag park. I usually do this at the end of the day pag pauwi nako. You will notice na unti unting mawawala yang unwanted odor na lumalabas sa aircon vents.
