got my fuel consumption for first full tank. Jazz 2009 1.5 AT 60% highway 40% city. conservative driving max speed is 80 kph (break-in period). stepping lightly on the gas pedal.

Car computation = 15.2 km/l
Manual computation = 14.7 km/l

1.3 MT.. just drove this weekend from alabang to malolos bulacan, 1 passenger only..
19km/li reading on the odo.. then nung bumalik na ako from malolos to alabang, around 17.5km/li..

ang tipid talaga ng mga city. malaki kaya difference ng response ng engine ng 1.3 city compared sa 1.6 na vti mga sir, medyo ot ehehe. i haven't drive a city kasi. mine is 99 vti, my average fc is 8.54km/l pure city driving (average speed is 60-70km/hr) and 12.74km/l from pasay to ilocos (average speed is 100-160km/hr) - (auto fulltank basis)

Mine is honda City 2009 1.5E and based on the computer, my average is only 5.8Km/L, though 70kms pa lng ako purely city driving with minmal traffic... Sa mga Honda City owners, ganito rin ba FC nyo nung una?

Just got back from baguio. Gassed up at Petron Baguio (49 per liter ba naman!) then went down to QC then to Las Pinas then Makati and now back in QC. Meron pa ako less than 1/4 gas. Nasa 420km na tinatakbo ko and nasa 16km/l ako.

Hataw sa high way around 110 to 130kph ang takbo ko then 60kph pag dating sa city.

I normally get around 380km per full tank with normal city driving at 11 to 12km/l according sa average computer.

Update lng on my FC, my first full tank only got 213 Kms... very poor FC but currently averaging at 7.5Km/l... Humm do you think i need to advise honda about it?... city driving but not so traffic, went to Las Pinas a couple of times and moderate traffic sa zapote...

Try resetting your computer. I drive a 1.5E city. Lots of highway speeds up to 140 kmh and nightmare traffic sa SLEX. The computer says I get 12.3 km/l.

my 2009 honda city 1.3 a/t registered only 6.8km/l as indicated on the computer reader, but in actual its only 6.17 km/l . My daughter used this car for school only. The fuel consumption is poorer now as compare to its first delivery , it even reaches to 8.5km/l during the first few tanks. I am using petron xcs until yesterday I shifted to caltex gold.

May I know what fuel is more suitable , will it be e10 or 95 octane.

Your FC is really good at 12.3km/l. I reset my computer on my 3rd full tank and now averaging 10.5km/l. I drove to San Jose Del Monte Bulacan this weekend and was able to average at 14km/l. I think its improving now and i'm really curious on my driving style and trying to maximize my FC. I'm using Caltex gold by the way. The first fuel i used was petron premium which i got a low FC. I'm not sure though if there is an impact on the fuel type.

I strictly use unleaded (as stated in the manual) for my Jazz 09. I assume it's the same for the City. I also try to stick with one brand, Caltex no reason really other than mas accessible sa akin.

Keep in mind that the automated gas computer also computes even at idle state. So if you're parked or in traffic with the engine on your mileage will be pulled down. I usually don't rely on the meter. I just compute the total distance I traveled divided by the number of liters I've pumped in. Seems more accurate that way.

I get an average of 320-330km per full tank with pure city driving. I've reached 420km when I did mostly highway driving.

I recently got a second hand Honda City 2006 1.5 and was a bit disappointed with the FC. Or am i expecting too much? I only got 7.75km/L with pure city driving. Pure city driving means not getting above 50km/hr for about 80-90% of the time. Masaya na ako na makatungtong ng 60-80km/hr and stay at that speed for at least 1 minute. And that's at C5 or EDSA pa. Is my FC acceptable? Used Caltex Silver btw.

Just got a full tank using Shell Unleaded to see if mag iimprove FC ko.

My routes: (HEAVY traffic either way)
Manggahan Floodway > C5 > Kalayaan > EDSA > Ayala
Ortigas Ave Extn > C5 > Kalayaan > EDSA > Ayala

Yung honda city ko '98 LXi automatic 5-6 km/L lang.... pero dati 11-14 km/L. grabe sa lakas... may problema kaya ang engine? hindi ako nata-traffic kasi bihira traffic dito sa place namin... sobra bagal ko na nga mag-drive ganun pa din... saan kaya ang problema?

Im using 96 Civic Lxi. FC ko pag city driving around 7.5 - 8 km/L. Pero pag long drive like I did nung pumunta kame ng Pansol Laguna, from Nova to Laguna and Laguna back to Nova, hindi man lang nabawasan ng 1/4 ung gas ko.

Mods- 17 inch Wheels lang
FC- Getting an average of 15 km/l. Usually Get 550-600 Kms on 1 tank.
Fuel- Used Petron unleaded before, Trying Sea Oil's Extreme 97 octane now. So far it looks like i'm getting the same mileage. 300km on a half tank


Note: Very light footed driver ako. Don't have much money for fuel that's why i try to maximize my fuel efficiency. I cruise on neutral when possible. And i seldom use the AC, I go to work at night and go home early in the morning. Medyo malamig pa, kaya paminsan minsan ko lang binubuksan ung AC, madalas No 2 Fan Lang.
