    Here's my FC

    2009 Jazz 1.5A/T 1 month old
Sta. mesa, marikina, QC everyday with aircon, no passengers
10.1 km/L on first full tank calculation (actual)
    11.8 km/L using car's computation

Will this improve in the succeeding months?

Whats your experience fellow 09 Jazz owners??

Fellow-tsikoteers, question on FC: I heard that the FC of 1st gen CRV will improve if its "all time all-wheel drive" will be disengaged, by removing the drive shaft for the rear differential. Is this true? thanks.

    Load, 5 adults no baggage.

    Fuel consumption, 13.56km/L.
Is this for real?

As far as I know, the 1st gen CRV had real-time and not full-time drive so it wasn't always working unless it detects slippage in any of its wheels. Please just correct me if I'm wrong though.

Do you reset your average km/L everyday? I traveled 290km and have 1/4 gas left from a full tank. I don't reset my average (only when i gas up) so I'm not completely sure what kind of mileage I get just city driving alone.

My current average is 13.1km/L (car computation) city/highway driving (QC to Makati, QC to Tagaytay via SLEX) on my 1.3MT. I've had the jazz for almost 2 weeks.

I looked at the Mazda FC page. They rarely reach double digits. So we should be really happy with what we get.

I dont really know the difference but, i guess i got the point. Let me put it this way then. will the FC of the CRV improve if the rear differential is disengaged? thanks.

Same here, i dont reset it everyday only during gas-ups. This is using Caltex Techron. Although my 10km/L average really has no highways. I havent reached the first PMS, does it really improve kaya through the months?

    Share ko lang ung akin.

    JAZZ GE 1.3 MT
    (all stock / 3 months old/ 3k kms ODO)

    Averaging 13 - 15 km/l

Route: Makati to Alabang/ Makati to Las pinas. mga 20 % hway 80 % city. madalas mapadaan sa traffic sa service road. Especially sa zapote LP. Pag sobrang traffic i average 13 km/l. never went below 13. last full tank ko i got around 15.2 km/l. Very light footed ako, and matipid ako sa aircon..

route: Manila to pangasinan and back. i got 17.5 km/l. hataw sa NLEX (120-140 kph) and tipid driving sa MCarthur hway. and medyo tipid din sa AC.

btw all of my computations are using manual method. i learned na medyo generous magcompute ung FC guage ng Jazz. probably 1.5 - 2 km more. so if the the FC guage shows 15 km/l, i'm actually only getting 13+

Ayos ah. Today i registered sa car computation 14.7 sta.mesa to QC. wala kasi traffic kasi signal no2.

By the way peeps, although may undercoat yung kotse ko, is it advisable ba magpa underwash 1-2x a month? o hindi pwede na every other month or so?

yes sir always reset everytime magfulltank ako, once na umilaw na low fuel warning light pakarga na ako at almost 40L full tank then reset, pagtakbo ko after 500m crusing around 90kph sa commonwealth check ko ulit FC ave. it says 14km/l at yung range nya is almost 550km, pero after a week of using my 1.3L jazz, gamit ko lang kasi ito hatid sundo ng mga bata from filinvest marcos hgwy to meriam tapos deretso don antonio then back to meriam to filinvest for a week tapos umilaw na ulit yung low fuel warning light, yung 40 liters ko na pinakarga 396km lang tinakbo,

Sir dbdrag, I never own a jazz(I wish I own one), based sa manual computation nyo, your real jazz FC is 9.9 km/L, mixed driving na to di ba?

Mine kasi ranges from 0.1 to 0.3 Km/L difference, almost accurate

mine has a difference of 1.5 to 2 km. So in a way medyo accurate na rin sya. I Just subtract 2 to the Reading.

    Jazz Ge 1.3 MT

Update lang sa Fuel Efficiency ko
    Odo reading 3.7k Km

    Best ( 2 full tanks ago )

    508 km - 33.5 Liters = 15.16 km/l

This is 80% city and 20% Hway, Route ko ( Makati to alabang Via Service road) When i got this di masyado traffic sa service road.

    Last full tank ko

    319 km - 22.5 L / 14.2 km/l

Medyo natraffic ako dito nakailang routes ako from Makati to Las Pinas. Laging traffic kc sa las pinas. Plus bumabagyo pa nun, kaya lagi malamig makina..

So far i think tumitipid nga ung GE habang nagagamit ko sya.

Btw magaan paa ko sa pedal. Madalas ako magcruise on neutral and Di ako madalas gumamit ng AC. Probably 30% of My travel time lang naka ON ang AC, Tapos the rest fan Lang.
I always try to get good Fuel Efficency. Kelangan kc magtipid. Mahal ang monthly ko kay GE.. hehe

I just had my 2nd full tank on my 2009 Civic 1.8S M/T. Got 8km/liter on purely city driving. Is this the average figure?

i was just wondering how do you guys compute for your average FC by not using the "full-tank, read on the odo the kilometers traveled, full-tank again and look on how many liters it took to get a full tank" method..sorry for this kind of confusing question..

    By NOT using this method?

Some cars have a computer/multi information display that computes this for you.
