October 30th, 2006 11:46 AM #31I'm planning to buy a used '94-'97 Accord A/T. Can you guys tell me the differences of each model (Exi, Vti, Vti-s, etc.).
Do Accords have factory problems?
Are parts very expensive?
Thanks.

November 3rd, 2006 04:52 PM #32the difference from the models like vti to vti-s is the engine.
It normally ranges from 2.0 to 2.4v
Is the parts expensive....?.........its an executive car....of course...executive parts...
unless you can scout for cheap parts....but it wouldn't be that reliable.

November 9th, 2006 03:29 PM #3495 Accord?wow that's nice.
you should check out the kits available for that model and the lights. I think I saw an accord with angel eyes headlight, it so nice.
I suggest go check out the parts/modifications available for your car in Banawe or Evangelista if you're residing in the Manila,Philippines.

ako i bought a 94 acord matic 2 months ago. na pagawa ko na sa megamotion and then sa casa ng honda dami na pinalitan. timing belt, tensionair bearings, other belts, overhauled throttle assembly, tuned up na, changed ATF and engine oil. until now bigla parin namamatay ung makina though not always pero may time na bigla nalang naglalaro ung rpm and then namamaty ung makina. halos wala nako maisip ipagawa. Does anyone have the same problem with their accord? can anyone help me? meron b kayo masuggest na magaling tumingin at magayos ng accord? a hav tried mega motion and honda casa and both have failed. di parin naayos. Can u email me at rodiz75*yahoo.com. Tnks

Ako rin! Join nyo naman ako dito.
Got a Black Honda Accord 1994 EXI and still on "stock" form.
I always go for original parts kahit sa labas ng casa ako nagpapagawa.
Critical ones like overhauling of power-steering and changing of timing belt, sa casa ko pa rin pinagawa kahit super mahal.
Right now, I am scouting for a shop that does not charge much or nanloloko.
I had it checked with casa, Rapide and etc. and they want to replace the compressor with a new one. I had it repaired there. They had the compressor rebuilt, and overhauled the whole A/C system. Sobra mahal kc charge sa casa at sa ibang shops. Laki ng tipid ko. Okay na at walang problem for the past 2 months. Super lamig like new.

ayos bro parehas pala tayo ng model ng accord mine is matic. madami na rin ako pinagawa. re- the suspension try mo sa wheelers suspension haus sa banawe near orthopedic magaling dun at mura pa. sa engine i go for casa and when it comes to aircon naghahanap parin ako ng mapagkakatiwalaan. Dontdo to mega motion pare peperahan ka dun nagtry ako dun once di nako bumalik masyado bobo mga mechanics nila at nagpapatung pa ng price pati mga cashier nila masyado garapal. Tireboy is a good substitute for casa ung dito malapit sa banawe sa may maria clara galing ata honda yung chief mechanic nila kaya maayos talaga.

well, i have never met a victim admitting they maltreated their trans box...
