Usually pagkastart meron sound tas mawawala.
Tas naririnig ko siya usually when I step on the gas pedal.
I used to drive a 1998 city and ramdam ko ang pagka premium ng accord.
The other thing na pinoproblema ko ngayon, pag magaan tapak ko ng gas, mag rerev nga siya pero sobrang hina naman ng hila niya. Kelangan tapakan pa ng onti para bumilis unlike the other cars ive driven. Parang di lang proportional ung sound ng engine sa acceleration?
It might be the drive belt. Check it out if it needs replacement. Also, did you ask the previous owner if he changed the timing belt already? If not, change it also together with the water pump.

Regarding the problem of the throttle input against the drive, please have the tranny checked out. It seems to show the initial signs of a sliding tranny. Accords have better throttle response and they don't usually sound stressed in low gears. Honda AT cars of that era are known to have some tranny reliability issues.

Send GTi a personal message. He is quite familiar with the Accord 7th gen platform. If you’re intent on buying one, get the model with the 2.4L engine.

If the price is about the same, go with the 8th gen. It is bigger and more comfortable. The 8th gen 3.5L V6 is one sporty ride, quick and fast.

If you can get the 7th gen for 300k or less, then it is something worth considering.

Sa olx you see 8th gens going for 400-500... malamang negotiable pa yun. Same year model camry which is no slouch either for 350+...

Not going with a 7th gen accord kung ganun!

    7G Accord < 6G Camry < 8G Accord

Actually sa totoo lang para mas gusto ko pa yung itsura ng 5G Camry kesa sa 7G Accord...
