September 4th, 2010 07:18 PM #22Ang tutulin pala ng mga to... Anyone tried topping out the City Type-Z VTEC? Doesn't it have more power than the GD-series? (on paper at least) And AFAIK it has the excellent EG chassis as well if I'm not mistaken.

Slightly more power from the crankshaft (+5 HP), similar weight (-50 kg or so), but the chassis wasn't from the EG.
The SX8 City used a heavily modified EF Civic chassis - the main change was to the strut suspension replacing the original double wishbones.
Friend of mine had a boosted SX8 City Type Z VTEC - broke the 200 km/h barrier a number of times with it.

Di naman siguro... but I'd be real interested to know how and where those photos were taken... SCTEX, going 190 uphill and accelerating downhill?
One thing I know for sure... the L15 won't rev over 8000 rpm on its own... not without being retuned. Don't think the stock valvetrain will hold up that long, either.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
