Hi folks. Any suggestions or tips on how to clean car rims damaged by dog pee? Napabayaan kasi matagal di nalilinis kotse [emoji852]

the tire was losing air gradually due to built-up residue on the inside of the rims due to dog pee. i thought there was a hole in the tire but there was none. the tire technician had to remove the residue using sandpaper.

i am now thinking of just replacing the rims entirely. any suggestions where to get stock rims that are cheaper than casas?

take a chance on the aftermarket rims shops.
marami kasing nagpapapalit ng kanilang stock rims for other designs, soon after the car leaves the dealer.
try carousell.

but kung isang piraso lang naman, consider having it re-painted.
re-painting mags isn't difficult.

Thanks. Any shop suggestion who does repaint? Di kasi ako DIY. I'll check carousell. 2 rims ang pinagtripan ng dogs eh pangit na tignan.

What are your other brake pad alternatives? Mine already squealing and need to replace(third time) a new one . I want to go for a change and a bit cheaper than the OEM this time.

Nissin NPO-152W-SA (with shims)... Nissin din disc brake systems ng GK natin... you can't go wrong with it...

Yung hindi sasayad sa wheel well kahit naka-sagad yung liko.
Yung wala na din babaguhin sa setup, basta isasalpak lang.
Ang size ng stock tires ngayon ay 185/55 r16.
Gusto ko sana ay yung mas mataas kahit konti.

8 year old GK here, 92k kms mileage.

so far wala pang kulot yung stock paint, other than gas gas. wala pa akong nakikitang visible rust sa body. I have removed and cleaned the seats.. so far walang visible rust or evidence of leaks during that process/activity.
sa disc brake, definitely minsan pag naulanan at di nagamit ng matagal, nagkakaron ng rusting, but after few use nawawala naman.. i believe its normal naman.

yung pamumuti ng mga trims is visible, so planning to buy trim restorer na acrylic base (eg. turtle wax graphene stuff), currently using yung old type na turtlewax trim restorer.

yung last na nagpalit ako, depende sa profile ng tire.. but if you get wider mags, possible to get wider profile na tire.
205 yung sabi sakin sa minerva. though i stick with stock size na kumho nung nagpalit ako ng mags(reason: para mas madaling linisan)

critical din ang offset ng mags... at least +42 yata dapat para iwas rubbing... kung gusto mo medyo malaki/mataas, 205/45r17 yata bagay dyan...

Pasubukan ko yung 205/50r16.
As much as possible ay ayoko sana galawin yung offset. Tapos stock mags pa rin ako.
Basta ang goal ko ay tumaas kahit konti man lang para naman makaiwas sa pagsayad nung pang-ilalim.

Are the tires due for replacement? If not and the objective is to raise ground clearance, have the shocks/coils checked to see if they need to be replaced.

Yes, due for replacement na ang 4 tires.
Will look into the shocks na din para isang trabaho na lang.
