SUmasayad ka ba? IMO if you lift it, you will void the warranty on the suspension parts.

Just checked the website of honda philippines, ground clearance for the city, jazz, brio and civic are all the same at 150mm but di naman takaw sayad yung ibang models. Mali kaya ang website?

In pick up truck segment, its measured from the lowest point of the differential, yung "bungo" to the ground, hence the ground clearance measurement. This is as per drawing sa brochure. So, I dont know if there are other definition of ground clearance.

Sa cars, I dont know where they measure it from. My guess is from the lowest? point of the suspension.

    i do not know, either.
one thought is, the distance between the ground and the lowest point of the ball joint or lower shock mount.
another thought is, the distance between the road surface and the lowest component of the car, which might be the oil sump or the suspension..

and is this measured with the car fully loaded, or with the car empty of passenger?

From what I've researched, this is measured with the car empty.

i dont have any idea whats the basis of getting the ground clearance. As a driver for 33 years, its distance from the body to the ground, unloaded.

    *dr. d,
I just copied it sa website nila. No idea from what nila ni-measure yun. So kung unloaded car yung 150mm and then sabihin natin with the driver only tapos sumasayad pa rin siya, could it be the coil springs? Since yun yung nagcocontrol ng rebound ng shocks?
