Kaya pa irestore yan if gusto ng may-ari. Tapos ibenta na lang if pihikan may-ari.

A car turned turtle along EDSA in Quezon City early Wednesday morning, GMA News' James Agustin reported.

According to the report, the car first hit a concrete barrier before flipping over along EDSA southbound lane.

Emergency responders took about 30 minutes before the driver was rescued.

They could not remove his foot that got snagged inside the vehicle. -- BAP, GMA News
Another victim of dangerous concrete barriers.

It's not about fault, but having safe vs unsafe infrastructure.

It's why we have guardrails next to cliffs, and why the start and end points of those guardrails are sunk into the ground. It's why we have rumble strips on highways to keep drivers alert. It's why highways have a hard shoulder and delineators before the eventual ditch or guardrail. The list goes on.

Those barriers on EDSA are plain bad and have very serious consequences for what should be a minor driving error of drifting out of lane. People shouldn't be driving on hard mode during their daily commute.

i am waiting for someone to sue the folks who thought to install those barriers in the middle of a very busy street.
    only then, might they disappear.

Those barriers should be removed. Mahirap makita sa gabi yan. A simple line and strict implementation of traffic rules.

The reason by the MMDA for the Cement barriers is because of trucks and buses damaging the plastic barrier before. Those trucks and buses would easily run over those plastic barriers. Wala pa raw 1 week sira na.

The MMDA already has hi resolution CCTV, if you go to their command center aka Camp Big falcon.
you can see lots of screens with CCTV that can read the license plates of cars and buses all over the length of EDSA and major Roads.

Were the palstic barriers filled with water like they were supposed to? Saw some vids before na tinatangay ng hangin at baha ang plastic barriers dahil nilagay sa kalsada nang empty.

Muntik meaning nabuhay yung rider? Mabuti naman. Sana wala syang permanent damage.

    well,
there is a "recommendation" that motorcycle riders should ride as if they were the size of an automobile...
so what was the cyclist doing there on that narrow half-lane, making singit?
apologies if i sounded tough against the cyclist.

the black car driver did not appear to mean it, naman.
gags lang for not using the side mirror.

    and that cyclist...
he does not know how very lucky he was, that day.
obviously, his Guardian Angel was on the job.
