If you ask me, I wouldn't dare have my car washed in the mall, imagine, ang kitid ng space with limited lighting, kita ko pa yung mga gamit nila -> Pranela, turtle wax, rain harry tire black, konte lang ang tubig, etc. its a recipe for disaster. Well thats my opinion.
I have never really tried their services since I am one of those who really enjoy cleaning and waxing their own cars. :-)

However, I still have a word or two to say about them.

First, I find their over eagerness in helping people how to park their cars very VERY annoying. It's as if the mall parkings are now swarming with watch-your-car boys. I have my own style of parking. Also, OC ako sa pag-park. I want to make sure that the distance between my car and the yellow guide lines are as equal as possible to avoid any door dings. It's very distracting and annoying to have somebody behind you yelling, "Sige! Sige atras! Sige Serrrr" Oh man! And I am loathe to reprimand them. Alam mo naman yung ugali ng karamihan sa atin. Pag pagalitan mo, baka gasgasin pa kotse mo.

Second, to some of them (not all), a simple and polite NO is not enough. This is apparent especially in Rockwell. There was a time when sinundan pa ako halos sa escalator papuntang Rustan's trying to convince me to have my already clean car washed and waxed.

Third, I frequently see them LEANING on the sides of other cars! --> Those cars that they didn't clean! Lintik! Ano yan? Porque't hindi nila nilinis, gagasgasin na ninla? In Shangri-La edsa mall, I saw one filling up his "receipt' on the hood of a dusty BMW parked next to the Camry he just cleaned.

Lastly, have you seen how they operate their water wands in a crowded place? Maswerte ka if your car gets some splash marks when they wash a car parked next to yours. Sometimes, the butt end of their wash wands accidentally (I prefer to think carelessly) hit the side of your car causing door dings.

Nakakainis na tuloy mag-park sa malls. Not only do you have to worry about having your car damaged by a careless driver or passenger (door dings), you also have to worry about them.

kaya I try to park beside a pillar as much as possible. para one side na lang inaalala ko.. hehe.. o kaya sa sobrang OC ko, maswerte naman ako and I get between an empty space and a pillar..

With that small cart they are pushing along, it makes me wonder... how much water does it hold? We need water to clean the cars.... and so...

... for me its simple physics: clean a car with just a tiny bucket of water?

    Yeah right...

Me, I do the washing/cleaning of my car myself. Wala ako bilib sa mga carwash. They don't know how to clean the car.

hehe just this morning I was in Shangri-La and upon parking, this guy comes up to me and asks me if I want my car waxed. My car just had a coat of glaze and wax on it so I asked him, "niloloko mo ba 'ko?" and then I laughed. He smiled and replied, "nagbabaka sakali lang..."

And pansin ko den talaga they don't take no for an answer, susundan ka pa habang naglalakad pinipilit na magpacarwash.

Oh man! I hate it when they do that.

One time, after putting a fresh coat of MEG#26 on my black car, I drove to Glorietta. MEG#26 attracts dust like crazy... So by the time I got to the basement parking, my car already had a noticable coat of dust... much like puto-seko.

Hinipo din yung hood ko... tapos... SER! Kinis ah! Anong wax gamit niyo? My BP must have gone to 200/150 at that time... I swore I must have heard a KIZZZZZZZZZZSHT sound when he ran his finger on my dusty hood. At that time, I wanted to grab the wash wand from his cart and shove it up his nostrils! But buti na lang I restrained myself and just said, I just had my car washed and waxed by one of your boys yesterday... para wala nang argumento.

When I got back home... meron na akong swipe marks kung saan niya hinipo yung hood ko.... kainis. I had to polish them out and re-wax my hood.

These washboys don't know kung ano hanap nila... for a meager pay they're exposing themselves sa hazardous smoke emitted fr d cars, vans etc..

Dapat pausukan sa tambutso promotor nito.

hehe ako di ko na sinusungitan, baka gasgasan pa oto ko... and besides, at least nagtratrabaho sila, yun nga lang, they're not well trained.

If the parking area is not very well lighted (as in most car parks) di talaga maayos ang pagkakalinis ng sasakyan kaya di rin ako nagpapalinis sa mga yan

your parents must be very rich.....i guess you just dont have an idea how big our unemployed and underemployed statistics ehh....as long as they are working and having a honest living, that is good enough.....

ive NEVER looked up to people who drive expensive european cars and big SUV's but were able to afford them becoz of graft and corruption and through shady/evil business practices who got rich in expense of the common people....."di pa sila patay, sinusunog na kaluluwa nila sa impiyerno"

"pausukan promotor nito" dude, at least the owners are able to provide much needed jobs to those who need one unlike other pipol

See what one of those mall parking lot CleanCar people did to my car.
