Not just in EDSA, in any clogged major road, sobrang dami yung mahilig umovertake ng alanganin especially in moderate (~40 kph) speeds. Pag slow traffic, singitan talaga yan and hindi maiiwasan pag nagbigay ka ng space. Hindi ako sumisingit pero I keep a close distance (just far enough to avoid hitting in case of sudden braking) para hindi rin masingitan.

Kapag naovertakean naman, it's proper motoring etiquette to let them pass you. Hindi yung mabagal ka tas pag inunahan ka na bibilis ka rin. Papansin na, bastos pa. If you really want to speed up, then at least let the passing car complete his maneuver and then overtake when you have a clear chance.

Maybe we should call it "ugaling jeepney-driver" para mahiya ang mga gumagawa nyan? Para malaman din ng jeepney drivers na mali yan.

Just about anything you do irresponsibly while on the wheel can be labeled as "ugaling jeepney driver" because they've done them all already.

That and jeepney drivers are experts in being too thick (mga alam na mali ginagawa nila at walang pakialam) or too simple-headed (mga hindi alam na mali ginagawa nila at walang intention na malaman pa.) with regards to their driving habits. I don't think they'd be affected by such things.
