majority of peenoise eh ma status symbol like things: kotse, bags, sapatos, lacoste and now yung penguin.

They need to wear bling-blings para mapansin.

I like al fresco dahil hindi ako mainitin. Hindi ako nagtitiis dahil preference ko yun. Gusto ko rin naarawan ako dahil bihira ako maarawan, covered parking ako sa bahay at office and usually gabi na ko lumalabas. When I'm with my Spanish group usually sa labas kami. Sa bahay hindi ako gumagamit ac. Passive cooling lang.

    Ikaw ata ang judgemental

    cathey,

the human specie and even the animals hide in shade pag maaraw.

Maybe ngayon december to february tolerable jan mag alfresco. Pero sa tag-ulan and sa summer = Not comfortable.

Do you have stats to prove that BGC is not earning money? If that is the case then why are multinational companies putting up their offices in BGC? When was the last time you were in BGC? Serendra at high street central lang ata alam mo. There's central square and one bonifacio. Gusto mo kasi typical box designs like SM. And your call yourself a man of impeccable taste?

Nakaka irita na yung posts mo na puro criticism sa lugar (BGC, Makati and South) tao (Filipinos), Kotse, diesel and basically everything under the sun. Pero fanatic ka ng CHina. It makes me wonder if you really are a troll or not.

Here where I live, people take pride in their old cars that are still running fine. Durability is king. If it wasn't for that deer collision, I'd still have my 14-year old Hyundai Sonata. I love it's 3.3L v6.

People discriminate based on how you package yourself: grooming, cars, accessories, etc. For me some people choose specific cars as part of personal branding. What they want to achieve is their business but we can't deny that branding is a powerful tool in business, whether its for a product or service.

While we always hear that we should never judge a book by its cover, the reality is people judge strangers based on external factors.

when i come across a particularly well-groomed old car (the older, the more attractive to me) in the parking area,
i take time to walk around it and breathe in all them lines and chrome, and peer thru the (hopefully) un-tinted glass.
akala siguro ng iba, tangka kong nakawan.

i also somewhat tail-gate such car, if i happen to see it on the road.
i once tailed one of alfred perez's american detroit matrimonial cars in slex, for some time.

    just to appreciate the car.

    bah bah bah...
    bah bah ba-rass...
    chrome!
    chrome!
    heh heh.

do i discriminate against not-well-manicured old cars?
    not really.
i still remember that i used to drive one of 'em, and am aware of the difficulties associated with lack of funding.
    basta huwag lang ma-usok.

yup people size up other people based on looks

grooming, what your wear, what car you drive, your watch if you wear one, your phone, footwear, even your skin

    re car

that's why people go into debt to keep up with friends / neighbors / coworkers...

if everyone's driving a crossover or suv or pickup, people are pressured to keep up

for many people image is everything

someone gifted me with a faux rolex.
i wear it from time to time.
it's never gonna pass COSC specs, but it wears most comfortably.
    heh heh.

Pansin ko... it all depends sa sipag nung guard...

I was at a Manila Bay mall yesterday and.

3 times labas-pasok yung car ko sa parking.
    1st - walang check

same mall during Alert Level 3...

Labas pasok ako sa mall without showing my VaxCard... nung huling pasok ko, check lahat pati laman ng bag ko.

I disagree that rich people look simple... IMO, mukha lang silang simple, pero everything they have is expensive.
Yung LV na lang... yung high end models nila halos wala nang logo ng LV. if you do not recognize it without the logo, you're not one of them.

pero lets not come clean here. we All discriminate

yung isang condo namin is rented by a Nigerian and when the water bill came out last week, lahat staff sa condo namin was aking (and laughing) kung bakit 63pesos lang bill nya... I smiled and asked them to check, baka may jumper syang linagay to bypass the water meter

take an average looking pedestrian, give him a haircut, make him wear a nice shirt

put him behind the wheel of a rented SUV

    sasaludohan ng guard yan

Curious lang yung guard… baka car enthusiast… he wanted to know if stock pa ba yung inside, and we he saw na may sterio installed, he checked na rin yung likod to see if may subs and leds…

Happened to me once, cx5 awd, guard open the rear door and checked my front interior, the he asked me whats year model and how much… [emoji4]
