    siempre para sikat

Back to topic..Kung ikaw ba naman ay public official kahit sugurin ka pa..ano ba naman yung mag pigil ka at ipakita mo cool ka under pressure, knowing na pag pumatol ka e talagng pag pipiyestahan ka ng media, at the same time gagwapo ka pa sa publiko na swabe ka dumiskarte..E kaso inuna mo machismo mo, ginulpi mo at ng mga kasama mo yung matandang maangas at yung anak na 14yo..e di bobo ka, pati mga taong sumasangayon sa kilos mo bobo din..

one thing they can do is ask support from opposition tingnan nyo si Binya kalaban pero di matanggal sa pwesto, sa susunod na election suportahan nila ang kalaban ni mayor para gamitin ang issue laban sa hayop na mayor na yan, pag natalo saka magsampa ulit ng demanda. Pero wag tumigil sa pag dadasal.

it was shocking the first time i've read about this news, and we all know why this is going around--because it involves public servants (i think we should use this term more often just to emphasize what government officers are all about). they're in the mess of their lives here simply because expectations of them are higher, they're supposed to be role models. i believe the pangandmans had an "oh, sh*t" moment after that, that's why they made a public apology.

there's the issue of provocation, probably a long debate about who started it. but to me, it's the outcome of the brawl that has more weight. who was disadvantaged?

if two rowdy students get sent to the principal's office, with one having a black eye while the other doesn't, which one will the principal reprimand?

and we haven't even talked about the boy... when i was still in elementary, i accidentally slingshot my cousin right in one eye. it was one bad accident i can't forget. his erpat rushed to his son, saw his bloody eye, and ran mad straight at me with his fist up. i knew i was gonna get one but didn't... he just paused, took one last piercing look and went back to his son. there is no excuse for hitting a minor. my tito knew, and he didn't even finish high school.

Kung may delicadeza si cabinet official, he should resign. And the mayor son should at the very least, make a personal and public apology. Eh mukhang walang mga pinag-aralan at pinagkatandaan ang 2 ito eh.

in conflict, the provocation is only one aspect of the story. you have to look at the whole context of the conflict.

In this country, an ordinary person who is faced against a more powerful one in a non-fatal confrontation usually just meekly turns the other cheek even in situations where the ordinary person is the aggrieved party (ie. the victim). But this is most especially true in situations where the ordinary person is the wrongdoer.

For the DeLaPaz's to be taking such a bold stance after the incident and knowing already who they were in confrontation with only shows that either they were truly victimized and are crying for justice or they are just plain cons and cheats making fools of the public.

    Take your pick.

There are many details which give me the impression of who among these two families are telling the truth.

    1) Who first reported or complained of the incident? All things being equal, its the victim who will report the incident in his quest to seek justice or retribution.

    2) Is it 'believable' for a 56 yr old and a 14 yr old to beat up and assault a party of 6 to 8 grown men?

    3) In the Philippine setting, sino ba ang usually mayayabang at maaangas - the ordinary taxpayer or the public official (a mayor and a cabinet sec at that)? Yung tipong may mga bodyguards and convoys when travelling public roads telling everybody else to GET OUT OF THE WAY - a VIP is coming through.

    4) Ehem. Sino ba ang nag apologize na?

Alam mo na kung sino ang guilty no?
Sana hindi na naman ma garci at bolante ito. Im telling the truth your honor......Thank you your honor
