i think you're jumping the gun by saying that the valley golf administration will probably side with the pangadamans. and that the PGMA influence will take over. that's not being fair also.

remember hindi na valley golf admin ang direct eyewitness dito. this happened in a public place, so many witnesses out there. like I said, let's wait for the official announcement first.

given that all can afford, do you think all have the means to sustain this expensive outlet to recreate? i am in serious doubts. i was talking of one's personal means to sustain. i have known lots of golfers whose memberships in the different clubs are paid by...if you're gonna check the lifestyle of our govn't officials, tell me if their salary can afford it much less sustain it..

This is from a friend of mine who is a member of Valley Golf and a long time member. Hence, he knows both the Pangadamans and the Dela Paz. According to him, the Dela Paz father and son are known to be arrogant golfers. Many members are quietly applauding the incident. Putting the Dela Paz in their proper place. The Pangadamans are known to be low profile folks who enjoy the game in Valley.

It's also true that no bodyguards were in the course and that it was in the club house when the oldest of the Dela Paz kids and the wife came charging with a knife and baseball bat that they were confronted with superior fire power from the body guards.

Sometimes, we have a poor impression of politicians only to later find out what really happened. Politician or not, they had to do what they felt was right. I am a golfer myself and I hate arrogance in the course. Sometimes, some people need to be taught a lesson.

i have ateneo alumni friends...not well off but brilliant. they've accumulated wealth and shared them.now, they're living by the teachings of loyola to become men for others. embraced their brethren found in the margins.

How could a gang composed of a 56 year old and two kids aged 18 (girl) and 14 (boy) even contemplate attacking a group of men. One flight of 4 men, worse two flights of 8 men? Unthinkable!

If it's true that the 56 year old father has a reputation of being hot headed, then getting beaten up would have put him in his place. What gets me is that they also attacked the 14 year old boy. They had the goons and the guns. Clearly superior resources and firepower. It'll be very difficult to prove the family of 3 attempted to maul a group of 4-8 men.

What made it worse was that these looneys didn't seem to have enough. They beat up the dad again in the club house. Ano iyun? Back-9? Nag-mulligan sila ng gulpi?

They (the vics) should sue Valley Golf for negligence and for being unable to protect its members and guests from these crazy politicos. Where was security all this time?
