11. After completion of the Skyway, traffic will get worst.
The problem with the Skyway is this: it is one big bypass that creates a bottleneck at the point where it merges with the traffic below. Bottleneck = traffic slows down.
And then they add another Skyway from the north. Parang mali.
Solution:
Since everyone is going towards Makati in the morning, the authorities should find ways to make the traffic move faster in Makati.
Example: Why not put another road on top of Buendia Ave. with the ground level going one way and the higher level going the other way.
Mas-effective pa.Last edited by donbuggy; February 1st, 2014 at 09:23 PM.

After the skyway was completed my travel time from laguna to buendia has been less than 30 mins. Mas matagal pa from dela rosa to ayala.

this country should be decentralized. lahat nasa metro manila. lahat nagsisiksikan dito.

This "traffic relief" won't be free. You have to pay toll to use this skyway 3... Not many will use it just like the SLEX Skyway now...
Hinde siya pang "masa".

Decongestion of Metro Manila? Easier said than done. Hindi talaga tayo properly urban planned.
Adding coaches to LRT and MRT? Im no genius but its very elementary naman ata na you can't put many coaches sa line running at the same time, it will create traffic din sa tracks.

February 2nd, 2014 10:44 PM #18not really wanting to see MM decongested in my lifetime. its like cleaning the pasig river, will take decades. regarding coaches, on "normal" conditions trains come and go with a very short amount of time in between, 2-3 minutes ata. pag rush hour 5-6 minutes, wala pang waiting period sa stations. wala naman problems ang old trains ng lrt, they still run good if not better than their mrt counterparts.
if people doesnt want MM to be decongested, and dont want trains added at the lines, and yet dont want the skyway 3 to be pursued, wtf happens to us then?
MM is such badly planned, obvious naman. so its enough reason to provide the dwellers with alternatives on where to reside.
this is OT. hehe
back to skyway 3. ang target naman talaga nito ay yung travelers from north to south and vise versa via NLEx and SLEx. para makabawas sila sa EDSA traffic. bonus nalang yung exits nito along the way.
