nung bago pa ang MRT ang fare nya from cubao to ayala asa Php 40.00

You get what you give. That is the price of development, look at all the elevated roads in HK, JP and other countries, the benefits will come soon enough.
Oh Skyway 1 was bad. I used to live in Alabang then, and travel to Taft Avenue. There were 4 hour drives 1 way on a bad day.

But it's bound to happen, and it's got to happen.

New roads are always welcome. I doubt it for the next 10 years, unless may magbago sa 2016.

tanga kasi government natin gusto puro short term solution na malaki ang kikitain nila. bakit kasi di nila i develop mga tabing city ng metromanila like bulacan/pampanga and laguna/batangas, pag na develop yan di na mag sisiksikan lahat ng tao sa MM.

One of the issues with our infra planning is we build things way past the time when we need it. Skyway system should have been completed in the 90's when traffic was relatively less than today (though already horrible back then; I remember allotting half day for my commute from Laguna to QC).

Same with LRT2 extension to Masinag. Govt postponed the project dati dahil hindi raw economically viable. They should just take a look at the number of UV express and jeeps during rush hour para makita nila kung viable o hindi.

Well, better late than never. The pressure on the Aquino administration to deliver at least a single major infra project before 2016 was too great that they decided to proceed with multiple major projects all at the same time.

Access. MM is expanding really contrary to what others may say. That's why you have developments in Cavite, Laguna (esp. Santa Rosa), Bulacan and Pampanga. Rizal is also expanding in the lowcost housing segment however with the lack of a viable access road, it will not be as progressive as the others with access to NLEX, SLEX, CAVITEX. The C6 road artery is supposed to address this but to date there are no major construction/expansions movements yet.

kasi mas inuuna nila yung cybercrime law or the preservation of their dynasty and milking cow dahil takot sila sa mass action that can be bought by social media such as the luneta grandstand march against corruption... kaya ayun puro setback yung mga projects na dapat 30 years ago pa na tapos since 50 years ago pa na plan yan

what we need in tandem with better roads are better mass transport system not only for the public but also for commercial para matangal na din yung mga 10 wheller and semi trucks(cargo trains and elevated train system in tandem with pnr)
