    boss, di ba city bus lang ang yellow lanes? kasi city bus lang ang nagbababa at nagsasakay sa kalsada eh. provincial bus eh BAWAL sa yellow lane.

    yes mas behave nga sila sa metro kasi puno na,
    pero dito sa amin (bataan) mga balasubas din magmaneho kapag papunta pa lang ng manila at konti sakay.
    Ang mga magkakalabang bus na ito nagkakarerahan from bataan up to pampaga and nlex.

    Kanina nga, i was following a bus (bataan transit) na papuntang manila, we passed another bus (genesis) na nakahinto sa shoulder waiting for passengers, aba nung nukita ng genesis yung kalaban nyang bataan transit na dumadaan, biglang cut sakin yung kumag na genesis, ginitgit ako, kinuha lane ko at harurot para humabol sa kalaban nya. Biglang preno na lang ako,
    Harurot yung mga bus, overtake dito overtake doon, yung mga kasalubong na mga sasakyan napupunta nga sa shoulder sa kakailag hehe.
    I tried to follow them, nasa 80-100kph takbo nila. Nakakatakot kasi may mga schools silang nadaanan at maraming tumatawid na bata. Tsk tsk

    Bus drivers and conductors which are paid a percentage of their daily boundary earnings will always lead them to drive recklessly. In an interview, an anonymous bus driver along EDSA admitted that he has to be "ma-diskarte" in order to get as much passengers and do as many trips as he can in a day. He further added; "Kung kailangan makipag-basagan ako ng side mirror [with another bus], gagawin ko para lang makakuha ng pasahero".

    Having the drivers/conductors, in essence, "rewarded" for being reckless, just puts the nail in the coffin. Bus operators must understand (or at least admit) that when you push these deivers/conductors to produce, the safety gloves are off and people die.

    Pag nag apply ka malaking kumpanya ng bus liner sa interview tinatanong nila kung ilan na nasagasaan , nabangga . at napatay sa aksidente . dito nila siguro binabase na pag marami kang aksidente involved ibig sabihin professional driver ka. Tanong lang dahil ba malaki ang sasakyan na bus malakas loob ng driver na barumbado magmaneho lalo na kung maliit ang masisingitan . Paalala lang sa mga kapwa ko tsikoteers observation lang pag nakauna ng kaunti pagsingit ng bus huwag na natin pilitin kahit alam nating tama tayo. Kung hindi sabit at sakit ulo lang dahil alam nila malaki sasakyan nila. Paalala lang.

    until maging gov't control ang serive ng mga buses walang mangyayari sa klase ng pasweldo, tingnan din natin kung meron basic pay ang mga drivers, pwede na rin silang mag pa petiks-petiks since hinde na sila kukuha ng passengers and yet meron silang sweldo, kawawa rin ang operators pag ganyan, saan sila kukuha ng pang sweldo kung hinde naman kumukita ang mga buses nila?

    I believe this is the job for inspectors. Their job is to make sure that their buses are able to accomplish the minimum number of trips and bus fare ticket sales, among other things.

    I would like to clarify my previous post in that, bus operators can still provide bonuses or incentives for drivers/conductors who exceed the daily quota, but up to a certain extent only. There should be a cap on what the maximum allowable incentive they can get. So say, if an average bus earns P8,000 a day (example only), if the bus driver and conductor earns P8,001-10,000, they get a certain amount commensurate to the extra earnings. But if they exceed the P10k earning, they'll get nothing more for that.

    I don't know if this will work.

    Ako naman kada dumadaan ako dito sa Edsa Central Edsa (Ibabaw) eh natatakot ako sa mga bus dahil ang lakas nga manggitgit.

    1 day Alto ang dala ko, nasa labas ako ng yellow lane pero ayun nagmamadali itong isang red na bus. Punye*#$, matutulad na yata ako sa mga nakikita ko sa TV. Eh ang liit ng auto ko, nakatutok ng todo sa likod ko (take note nasa labas ng yellow lane ako patawid ng crossing sa Shaw blvd), flash pa ng flash ng headlights tapos maririnig mo yung malakas na rev tapos kada tingin ko sa likod eh pumepreno ng malakas kung kelan malapit na sa akin. Tapos change lane ng change lane, minsan sa akin nakabuntot tapos pag nakitang sa lane ko gumagalaw, biglang tutok sa likod ko Punye*#$. Eh kung mabangga si Alto ko, eh sigurado durog ako sa liit. (sa pagdrive ng bus driver eh kahit pa naka Fortuner ka eh madudurog ka rin).

    nakikipagunahan kasi dun sa bus stop dun sa Megamall. Kungdi rin kasi mga G*#$ ang MMDA, eh dahil sa mga bus stop na yan lalo na sa Megamall eh nagsisikip tuloy hanggang sa crossing. Red yung bus so malamang Don Mariano yun hay naku.

    Thank God wala namang nangyari. Pero kung ako eh nabangga talaga, ilalabas ko kagad yung balisong kong kinakalawang at bubutasin ko kagad ang mga gulong niya!
