hahaha...obvious na obvious naman yung may post na Atoy, malamang konektado din yan sa jeff na konektado daw sa starbright...e wala rin sa rason yung pa foul foul nya regarding sa pagtawag sa kanila na "carnapper". may pa foul foul pa e yung mismong ginawa nila foul na. i dont wanna go into cliches but cant help it "do not do unto others what you do not want others to do unto you" . to jeff and everyone at starbright, the least you can do to save your as**s would really be to change the car that you messed up. at para sa china trip ni andy, kasalanan mo pa rin yan kc you, your manager, or whoever in your company hired incompetent personnels, (giving the benefit of the doubt) kung totoo mang hindi mo alam ang mga pangyayari...

Apex_i, I'm sorry to hear what happened. I feel your pain as I had experienced the very same thing that you are experiencing right now. Pero IMHO, it's best that you and Andy would meet somewhere in the middle since di naman total wreck. It's definitely repairable and knowing Andy, I'm sure he will make it good as new, if not better than new.
Furthermore, compromising each other would definitely help in resolving this issue soon since it will creat a win-win situation. Your car will be good as new, Andy can regain his reputation, and best of all, both of you will have peace of mind and you guys can put all of this behind you. Besides, I'm sure you want this fiasco over soon, and prolonging this won't definitely help both you and Andy at all.

Honestly bro, tingin ko hindi rin papayag yung may-ari na palitan ang kotse mo. Although kasalanan nila, personally requesting for another brand new car as replacement isn't commensurate to the crime.
Why not give them a chance na ayusin yung trabaho nila, plus some monetary compensation? (Say, mga 10 to 15k? Or freebie services/items within that same price range). Para bawi naman yung pagod mo at yung perwisyong naidulot sa yo. Kasi kahit paano, nasira na rin yung reputation nila. And for service providers like them, a ruined reputation is a nightmare.
Otherwise, mas lalong tatagal at walang patutunguhan ang problema mo. And I wouldn't recommend filing a case either. Too messy and costly. My 2 cents...

Mas excited pa sila sa iyo na i-cover yan.
IMO - a total replacement of the vehicle might be too much though. I'd try to bargain for these instead:
- washover for the vehicle
- interior detail
- replacement of lock mechanism
- service vehicle while all of this is being done
- compensation for lost time while the vehicle was allegedly being "modified"
btw, negotiate for them to have this done in another shop (like the kia casa).

WE ARE NOT MAKING UP ANY EXCUSES, WE JUST ****ED UP, as to the reasons why it happened, a lot of people were asking for an explanation, we told them what happened, yes kasalanan ng mga tao sa shop, sinabi lang naman ni andy kung ano talaga nangyari, BUT STARBRIGHT IS TAKING RESPONSIBILITY for what happened

here is the list of what happened to apex i 's car
1. nawala yung susi
2. nagasgasan yung bumper and may natirang chemicals
3. madumi yung oto
yung 3 na yan, dahil yan sa kabayaan, not an accident plain and simple
how the key got lost i have no idea
2. kaya nagasgasan yung bumper and may natirang chemicals is dahil nasukatan ng kit, not intentional though, we have 2 entries sa show na kia, a carens and a sorento, nung iniwan ni apexi yung sportage nya kasagsagan ng preparation sa show, i think things got mixed up sa gumagawa dahil nga 3 yung kia dun, nasimulan sukatan yung sportage pero hindi tinapos when we found out na hindi yun yung para sa show
3. madumi yung oto well normal naman yan, maputik , maalikabok at kung ano ano pa, pero dapat nilinis
now dahil sa 3 nangyari na yun, the owner is asking us to replace the car with a brand new one, which i think is a bit too much
1. get a new ingnition system, replace all locks and new keys, (not just order a spare key, macocompromise safety nung oto)
2. repaint the bumper, or replace it with new from casa
3. linisin mabuti yung car
i think kung nagawa naman yung 3 yan, wala namang macocompromise sa oto niya hence no need to replace the car
and of course dapat may compensation dun sa hassle and sakit ng ulo brought about this incident, mabilis naman pagusapan yan
he can get free items such as hid, mags, full bodykits and a year's worth of detailing and waxing etc
just to make it clear, na paulit paulit ko ng sinasabi, inaamin namin ang pagkakamali, ang problema lang is ang daming taong nakikisawsaw, sana let starbright and the other party settle this muna, kung hindi magkasundo that's the time na you start bashing or whatever you want to do, hindi naman pinapabayaan yung issue e, on going ang talks para masettle na to
Agree ako sa post ni Mazdamazda and Jeff... Medyo malaki yung hinihingi nyang kapalit sa damages na nagawa ng Starbright.
So ok na yung
1. Change Security system
2. Repaint/Repair the whole vehicle
3. Full Interior Detail
4. Service Car
5. Free Bodykit/Money compensation
Siguro naman mas mura na yan kesa sa bagong kotse.
Whatever alibi or be it an honest fact, bottom line is STARBRIGHT is taking full responsibility. Mas mahalaga ngayon yung end result & damage control. Alam na nila kung saan sila nagkamali & for sure nag tatanda naman. Yung mga hindi pinapatawad eh yung hindi marunong mag sisi. Parang sugat yan mga dude, alam na nilang kailangan gamutin kaya wag na nating salingin, masakit lang eh. Parehas naman silang nasaktan at may mga irreversible consequences on both parties.
Let's give the dude a chance, looks like it's the best amicable settlement he could come up with. Yun nga lang, much better na kung 3rd party na ang mag ayos ng auto.
Tama ang solution ni M2. Honestly, I find the "replace with new car" demand pretty funny.
Yun lang, wag sa casa gawin, kasi may connects kay Starbright eh. Maybe some mutually agreeable third party shop/dealer.![]()
oo nga lets just wish na sana magkaayusan na sila apexi at starbright sa lalong madaling panahon.. para masaya ang pasko di ba
