Remember these golden driving rules each time you get behind the wheel:

Respect others – Treat other drivers the way you want to be treated and give them space so that they feel safe.

Be alert – Pay attention to what other drivers are doing to avoid any potential hazards.

Be aware – Stay alert for anything that could put you in danger.

Ok pa nga yan e. Sa Pinas, Helmet first.
Pag nabangga ang two wheel, kung may helmet yun rider, di naman lahat, pero karamihan, lipad ang helmet at the point of impact.

    Para rin silang walang helmet...

One think I learned while driving here is patience hehehe, but nauubos din minsan, but sa kanila sir bale wala lang if they cut each other, bihira lang ako nakakita ng road rage kasi almost everybody is doing it and akala nila tama yun, si misis who don't know how to drive knows how to break while in the passenger seat next to me hahaha. Pero one thing for sure, mas mabilis maubos pasensya ko diyan.

    Or in Sri Lanka [emoji16]

I've been there almost 3 years ago. I was fetched by the company driver; wasn't so sure about sitting on the back seat; so I sat in front.

    It was a helluva ride

Some colleagues said it's worse in India; some said in Bangladesh, where sedans sport bullbars [emoji16]

Isa pa yung mga tricycle, they sometimes ply the highways which is very dangerous, tapos nasa fast lane pa sila at ang bagal pa, and then when you honk your horn para tumabi sila eh sila pa galit.

i see it as a generic picture.
one can make a number of scenarios with it, depending on who they want to make into the villain.

but, i like the color of that fort.

Hindi dapat lumiko agad yung tricycle just because the driver wanted to turn early.

Bad habit yan ng majority na pinoy driver and pag naabutan ng ganyan igigiit sila tama kasi sila nauna.

That's exactly what happened. Hubby was already in full stop (past the middle of the yellow box) as there were a number of tricycle drivers who cut our lane (take note of the ONE WAY sign).

Hubby started moving when it was clear, pero humabol pa si manong (with white hair in the picture). The ending? Well... Paint damage, and a projected 2,000 to 4,000 Pesos in "self-damage" expense.

And yes, iginiit pa ni manong na dapat nagbigayan daw kami. What the H.

Buti na lang he hit the gutter hard, not our bumper.

When they say "dapat nagbigayan kasi" what they really meant is "ako muna dapat kasi". A prevalent mindset in a country where plenty of motorists don't know a thing about safe driving and how to follow rules.

What? G Class pala yan. Solid old school big body SUV nagmukhang mini hatchback. Mukhang mabilis masyado si Vice mayor.

    Not just any G-Class, but a G55.

But German engineering and all the advanced safety features can't save you if you don't wear the most basic yet most effective safety feature - the seatbelt.

Case in point, his bodyguard riding shotgun with his seatbelt on survived while the Vice Mayor didn't, even if the damage was more severe on the passenger side.

That's why everyone should buckle up every time. Even if you're in the back. Most people don't buckle up if they're not in the first row.
