The pictures of the 3rd Philippine ELEANOR is noe posted at the Gallery section.

The pictures were taken a month ago before it was loaded on a flatbed on it way to its owner.

There the tires, engine, interior will be fitted.

This is the 3rd one, the 1st and the 2nd is still in my garage undergoing a more radical transformation.

    1. 460(7.5 liter motor)
    2. Coil over front end and rear end
    3. Rack and pinion steering
    4. Functional side exhaust
    5. 9" rear end
    6. Subframe braces to tame the torque of the Big block
    7. 4 wheel discs.
    9. Oil coolers, transmission oil coolers.
    etc.

Expected time of completion June 2005.

This is an All metal conversion. When I posted this on the net, the American and the Europeans cannot believe that it can be done in metal. Because doing it in metal will cost 3 times from the fiberglass kit. that will bring the conversion cost to about $18,000.00. Woodfire and 66bunny had already seen this.

I have the VHS tape of that Halicki Film.

I also have the 71 Mach1 clone with 351 Cleveland. Woodfire saw it while we are griding the valves.

good job doing the conversion in metal. with a kit that elaborate (and so low to the ground), a fiberglass version would have looked like crap eventually

Thanks M54. It was hard word but I think it paid off well.

Nope Eleanor was a cutom built 67 Mustang fastback with the GT500 as the as the model.

The scoops are different, the front end is different, you can check it out, on a side by side comparison.
