Bakit dito sa Pilipinas, participation lang pinaguusapan? If I was not at fault and somebody hit me, I make the other party pay for the whole repair, not just the participation of MY OWN insurance policy. Claiming against insurance will usually result in a higher rate for the next term due.
I made the driver pay for the whole amount as estimated by the casa and did not claim insurance to ensure I have no claim record.
dito sa 'pinas, if you insist on dancing your own dance, you will have to have the force of the court behind you. and we know that that takes a very, very long time. so, for the sake of expediency, we dance to the same musical chair game.
you were lucky, the jeepney driver was able to scrounge up enough money..

I asked my insurance agent about this when I got into an accident and the other party would not pay for my damage using her insurance. They were clearly at fault, the driver had no license. I was hesitant to claim as own damage thinking that it would affect the following year's premium, but my agent confirmed that it will not. However, I paid for my damage out of pocket since it was almost equivalent to my PF.
I do not like this option as well, but it's the least amount of hassle. Sometimes people refuse to pay anything so I will settle for what I can get. This is my mindset na considering how people have become so inconsiderate nowadays.
Jonjon villegas,
Natuloy ba yung suhol na 1,200?
Mukhang type mo yan friend mo ah.
***************
Ilan months expired yung driver license friend mo?
Nalimutan ba talaga magrenew or tinamad punta LTO?

2 weeks ago nag expired.

Lawyer is the best or settle it on the spot with cash so no one will know you have an expired license. Follow the cops suggestion and she's going to be in deep ****. IMO this kind of carelessness, I believe its not to be tolerated. Driving with an expired license and lacks safe distance driving. Looks to me your officemate is a total ahole.
babayaran niya ung nasa 2nd papaayos niya kotse niya harap likod.
Tama, driving without or expired license does not necessarily mean na ikaw na agad may kasalanan.
If that is the case, porke wala kang license, pwede ka na bangga-banggain?
I believe this was tackled in a podcast before, di ko lang alam kung sa Counterflow yun, and the LTO person nagsabi about that. Magbayad ka lang ng fine na driving without or expired license.
But then again, irresponsible pa din magdrive ng expired license. ehehe!
Correct me if I'm wrong...
Ang alam ko no license to drive means you have no right driving a vehicle. The driver and car should not be even on public roads kaya nawalan ng rights yung walang license.
If that's the case na ok lang na walang license kung Babayaran lang pala penalty kung mainvolve sa accident.
an expired license does not mean no license, it only means the license is expired. may penalty pag nahuli but it does not make you liable automatically in a traffic accident. liability will still bear on the one at fault. di ka nga lang maka-claim sa insurance mo at pag strict yung traffic officer multa ka (or lagay ka).
