The pictures of the 3rd Philippine ELEANOR is noe posted at the Gallery section.

The pictures were taken a month ago before it was loaded on a flatbed on it way to its owner.

There the tires, engine, interior will be fitted.

This is the 3rd one, the 1st and the 2nd is still in my garage undergoing a more radical transformation.

    1. 460(7.5 liter motor)
    2. Coil over front end and rear end
    3. Rack and pinion steering
    4. Functional side exhaust
    5. 9" rear end
    6. Subframe braces to tame the torque of the Big block
    7. 4 wheel discs.
    9. Oil coolers, transmission oil coolers.
    etc.

Expected time of completion June 2005.

This is an All metal conversion. When I posted this on the net, the American and the Europeans cannot believe that it can be done in metal. Because doing it in metal will cost 3 times from the fiberglass kit. that will bring the conversion cost to about $18,000.00. Woodfire and 66bunny had already seen this.

I have the VHS tape of that Halicki Film.

I also have the 71 Mach1 clone with 351 Cleveland. Woodfire saw it while we are griding the valves.

good job doing the conversion in metal. with a kit that elaborate (and so low to the ground), a fiberglass version would have looked like crap eventually

Thanks M54. It was hard word but I think it paid off well.

Nope Eleanor was a cutom built 67 Mustang fastback with the GT500 as the as the model.

The scoops are different, the front end is different, you can check it out, on a side by side comparison.

nice work Deo!!! Really impressive work from a real enthusiast!!!

BTW, please source me a 9" differential for my '67 convertible please? I'm also inclined to buy your dual 4 barrel in the latter stage of my car's restoration.

more power (or muscle?) to muscle cars!!!

The 9" differential is easier to find than the 2X4 intake manifold. But I am not quiter and i love to look for parts that nobody elase can find, have a lot of them in my garage.

I have that intake and I plan to instal it in my 66 Shelby Clone that I will be starting once my personal Eleanor is done. But if you want it, its yours since your 67 will be finished much much earliear than my 66(no money to fund my projects, hehehe)

    Thanks and regards.

turbo, where is your shop located...I might have a restoration job (if my budget allows it) kasi...a 1961 chrysler newport (amadillo yata)...it's in mint condition...minor bodyworks and needs a carb lang.

can you email your contact details and/or shop address at whyldthing*yahoo.com ?

Turbo, 66Bunny, woodfire, and anybody with a classic muscle car, lets organize a fun run next year as soon as our rides are ready to zoom. I reckon my '65 mustang hardtop will be finished by August 2005.
