I doubt that fc will change much after 5k is reached. My FC has hardly changed since day 1. Traffic and driving style has a much greater effect on fc.

FC of my 1.4MT sedan (pure city driving):

1st - 302 km - 36.843L = 8.197 Km/L (Petron Unleaded E10)
2nd - 326 km - 36.737L = 8.874 Km/L (Shell Unleaded E10)
3rd - 338 km - 36.140L = 9.353 Km/L (Shell Unleaded w/o E10)
4th - 394 km - 43.190L = 9.122 Km/L (3.97L of Total Unleaded and 39.22L of Shell Unleaded w/o E10)
5th - 374 km - 38.012L = 9.839 Km/L (Shell Unleaded w/o E10)
6th - 382 km - 36.768L = 10.389 Km/L (Shell Unleaded w/o E10)
7th - 356 km / 35.720L = 9.966 Km/L (Shell Unleaded w/ E10)

Lower figures but its because I encountered so much traffic!

May E10 narin yung gasoline but I didn't experience anything out of the unusual.

Just breached the 5000km on the odometer. I'm getting consistent 11+ km/l for the 1.4MT. Let's see the new FC , now that the break-in period is over.

got my latest FC, 354km range over 31.15 L = 11.36km/L. Same route as before; QC and Pasig and back. Still much the same from the average I'm getting previously. So there you have it; kwentong barbero lang ang FC will improve after the break-in period.

How do you manually compute FC for Manual 1.4 Fiesta.. Eto nakukuha ko sa estimate lang na computation. Per 1/4 gas = around 100kms.

Full tank mo sagad, as in mag two clicks sa automatic stop ang gas nozzle ng station, then set your kilometer reading to 0, then next time you put gas, dapat same station, and sagad 2 clicks din ang full tank mo.

Get the kilometer you traveled and divide it by the liters that you filled up.

Oh ganun pala manual computation. Pag set ko to 0 kilometer reading, mabubura yung current reading ko d ba. Eh panu ko malalaman yung total kilometer ko? Panu ko na malalaman kung naka 10000kms n ako?

Yung ODOMETER never nabubura yan, yan yung total distance your car traveled in its life. Ang TRIPMETER pwede ma reset. Use the tripmeter to measure your distance from one full tank to the next to calculate your fuel mileage.

Hello, kwento ko lang experience ko sa fofi ko. When I got the unit last Tuesday, ang reading nya until last Saturday is from 22.2 L/100kms to 16L/100kms. nagtataka ako kasi ang taas ng fc kung tutuusin. Pero nung nag pa full tank ako last Sunday, based sa manual computation ko is around 9.35kms/Liter.

Kaninang umaga, ang reading ko is still 16L/100kms. So I decided na i reset yong reading nya for the fc. After resetting, ang reading nya ngayon is 10.5L/100kms, so sa tingin ko naging accurate na sya..

matagal lang siguro sya mag adjust kasi bago pa..

Btw, city driving sya from Novaliches to Makati kasama na traffic sa EDSA.

Wah nalilito ako. Isa lang nasa panel ko eh. Nakasulat 351Kms. D ko alam kung Odometer to or tripmeter. Mukhang missing ako ng isa sa dalawa eh.. I will try to read the manual

Isa lang talaga ang ipinapakita (displayed figure), press mo lang yung maliit na stalk and magiiba yung naka display from trip meter to odometer. Para mareset yung Trip meter, long press lang sa stalk.

Eto nagpafull tank na me today, then reset ko trip meter. From office to house is 7+ kms. So around 50 petot lang ang 1way cainta to libis. So per day ko going to work back and forth is around 100petot pala sa gas. Ayos na sana eh. Kaso 110-130 petot ang parking ko.

I plan to use Caltex gold.. nabasa ko somewhere the Fiesta needs high octane fuel to work better... the silver is 91 RON vs the Gold which is 95 RON (tama ba ginamit ko na measurement?)

i just use petron unleaded. i try to go to the same gas station always. same pump also.

if i really need to gas up somewhere else, i go shell unleaded.

FC is stabilizing now. im now at 9.4-9.9 from a previous average of 8.5-9.0

Chuckomenda, on the average, may I know how many kilometers do you travel before turning off your engine?
also, what do you drive, a 1.4 or 1.6?

FC should be better if the distance traveled is longer between turning on and off your engine. ty

May napansin ako today, mas matipid yung fiesta pag mas matagal ko drinive. Pag papasok kasi sa office 7-9kilometers lang which takes 30minutes lang, pero kanina na drive ko ng 5:45 - 8:30. Totoo nga yung nabasa ko, na pag mas mainit ang engine mas matipid sa gas. D ko lang sure, kasi hindi expert.

Totoo yun. The longer you drive the more fuel efficient. The more short distance driving you make, the less fuel efficient...
