    Viewed his reciept too.

Anyway rsc6288, the VVTi Fort is good, just upgrade the shocks. The new six-speed Prado is D-4D and 4.0L V6. Hopefully, this new D-4D is better than what Fort-V has because my future mom-in-law wants to get one too. She favors Diesel engines more.

Here's an update on what happened after brake cylinder was changed........had the chance to drive it last night for the first time after driver brought it home from the talyer yesterday morning........As I suspected, it was a defective master cylinder......the brake feel is definitely more solid this time even my driver noticed that.......brake pedal doesn't sink like it used to when the engine is warm. The loud rubbery squeaky noise is definitely gone...drove around for 20 kms....no sign of it.....purposely turned off the radio to listen for it.....wala na........I'm disposing my car na soon......So for you owners of Fords, alam nyo na.......Don't buy into Ford if they tell you that's normal......BS yun.....Ayaw lang nila palitan!!!!!! You can quote me here and use the links I posted above.......Definitely changed the feel of the brake.......not as mushy as it used to be.........here is the fix right here.......change master cylinder and/or brake booster.......For those of you with relatives in the states, dun kayo bumili if out of warranty na car nyo......definitely mas mura.......Here's a tip for Ford Global, try the internet sometimes, you might learn a thing or two about car repairs........madagdagan man lang limited vocabulary nyo for diagnosing cars...hindi puro "normal" and "needs lubrication".....dapat kayo ang humahanap ng solution hindi yung customer.... that's what you are being paid for........

Sorry made a mistake in my previous post...........Was looking at the receipt again for the master cylinder US$ 128.90 dollars lang pala yung brake master cylinder with taxes and with shipping comes to US$ 174.02 for those of you who are interested.......Ordered on the internet yun kaya may shipping cost pa but I think if you can get it cheaper from the store...........I was told kasi over the phone before mga around US$180.00....Thought wala pang taxes yun......all in na yung US$174.02..........for those of you who are interested......

Dont want to be used again. As he has said, he does not need the help of anyone here but he just wanted to use the forums to vent his ire and tell the world how much he hates FORD and that is it, no less.

Also, does everyone realize that this has become a "hate" thread? One last shot, how different is a seller who knows about the problem of his car and passes it on to a new buyer to that of a dealership who does not want to take responsibility of a "supposed flaw" in the make?

    Your take peeps.

Please post the name of the online shop, I'll sticky the info for Explorer owners on the Philippine Ford Club boards. That's pretty valuable info.

Sorry for your troubles, but congratulations for solving the problem. Stick around on tsikot for a while.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

my two cents... I think from the very start, this thread is really to vent out the owner anger regarding his ford explorer and at the same time warn other fellow tsikoteers. I never read in any of his post asking for help from fellow tsikoteers.... so i respect his option regarding this matter. Ford global can easily contact the owner of this car if its really their intention to patch things up(meron naman silang record nyan)... I think before the buyer went out to this forum, he has already made ample representation regarding his case so dapat ford global naman ang lumapit this time d ba ??. giving plate number or contact info to ford global is just like asking them a favor which I think the rsc6288 don't want to happen.

Used?????? In what way did I use you fireblade?????? To get the info to Global???? I'm sure they know about this thread already or the info will reach them sooner or later........I didn't realize that this has a become personal issue for you now..........Like I said in my previous post, I didn't solicit your help in any way...you took it upon yourself to do something about it and you are dissing me for it???? This is between me and Ford Global anyway......Why are you involving yourself????? .....People do things for different reasons........maybe you ought to remember that....I have my ways you have yours.......You can't just throw your weight around and expect people to follow you.......Who are you???? my mom????? and maybe you ought to remember that the money I used to buy the car is "MY" hard-earned money not yours.........and the money to fix the numerous problems of the car that may arise in the future is not coming out of your pocket........and the time that's going to be lost while the car is in the shop is not going to be your time.............Oh before I forget, before you go on your tirade about my lack of morals, maybe you should put yourself in my shoes first........If you got yourself a car with as much problems as mine, wouldn't you want to get rid of it as well??????? The new buyer should be considered lucky that I took money out of my own pocket to correct the problem that the new buyer may not even notice when he takes the car for a test drive........given the problem only comes out when the car has been running for a while already.......I don't think a lot of people will do that....
