in total 2 weeks. they said it would cost me 360k but they will try to get it done under the "warranty".
it was actually a recall which they referred to as warranty. then FGP (Ford Group Philippines) sent in the new rack and pinion and all in all took me 2 weeks.

It's perfect now but I am still not able to determine if I need new struts/shockers....

On rough roads, the shocks give a weird "dukkk dukkk" noise. But apart from that no suspension noise on humps or high speed...

It could also be because of the 20" rim size... but not sure....

Which Ford dealership did you go to? And which website did you check for the recalls?

Go to ford website and enter Vin. It should tell you if it's effected under the recall. It's usually 2011-2013 models. I went to ford alabang

Carbon monoxide issue lang daw yung lumalabas sa VIN nila on the Ford USA website.

It's a 2013 unit though, and they already had their steering gear replaced. Mahal nga, 200+k haha.

Buti hindi sa amin yung car...

I only get some weird smell when I push the pedal hard. Apart from that I have driven the car for 3 hour straight, never felt any sort of fumes or sickness....

We have a Ford Explorer 3.5 2016 Eco Boost. Sa akin na pinahawakan ng ermat ko.

Puwede kayang i-downsize yung rims nito sa 17" o kaya 18?" Namamahalan ako sa stock tire size nya na 255/50-20 & hindi ko talaga kursunada ang takbo ng manipis ang goma. Mai-convert lang sana sa 255/60-18 o kaya 265/60-18 & 265/65-17.

you can downsize naman. was forced to get 235-60-18, mahal ang big brands. we opted for westlake for half the price. will it last? no idea yet, meron naman indicator. 50 profiles are too thin imo..

mag westlake ka na lang para di ka na-downsize. ok naman westlake yan nakakabit sa SF ko 3 years na, sa explorer ko naman achilles ok din. pero I doubt meron 20" yun. so westlake na lang,

di naman kelangan fancy tires yan, minsan lang gamitin kasi gas guzzler
