From: 2014 Ford Ranger SUV, Everest, Raider Rendered: Production Confirmed | Reviews | Prices | Australian specifications
So, malapit na ngaThe Motor Report can exclusively reveal that Ford's Ranger twin-cab ute will soon be joined by a seven-seat SUV stablemate.
Long rumoured to be in development, the new car is designed for the same T6 platform underpinning the current Ranger.
And, as confirmed by a rock-solid source from within Michigan USA, the new car is now sitting 'in the metal' preparatory to its first public showing. No longer a rumour, we'll be seeing Ford's new SUV sooner than you may have thought.
Our source, closely associated with its development, confirmed that a seven-seat Ranger SUV show concept has been completed in recent weeks, painted and prepped and with all body engineering finalised.
He also confirmed that it was destined "for you guys", for Asian, South-east Asian and Australian markets.
Our renderings, shown above and below, offer one look at how the new SUV might turn out, borrowing wagon styling from current Ford models like the overseas Explorer and the homegrown Territory.
Though the Ranger upon which it is based is not available in the North American market - it would apparently lean too heavily on that essential Ford icon, Ford's barnstorming F-Series - you can put your money on the Ranger SUV making an appearance at the Bangkok Motor Show on March 27, and perhaps in New York on March 29.
And, shortly after, you can lock in an announcement from Ford's Thai factory of a date for production to begin.
When speaking with TMR last year at the launch of Ford Australia's newly refurbished Design Centre at Campbellfield, Ford public affairs director Sinead Phipps underscored the importance of the Ranger project, and of Ford's global ambitions for it beyond the current vehicle.

hi last year i sold my everest 2007 4x4. For the first two years i have no complain, but despite regular preventive maintenances from ford casa by the third year it started to develop problems like whinning sound in the engine when accelerating - brought it to ford dealership but they could not find any solutions. Shocks then became soft and the ride became shaky. Lastly the transmission starts to slip, Ask the casa about it but despite a transmission oil change they cannot guarantee that my transmission will be ok. They advise that since my warranty had lapse to just not "push hard" the vehicle and start saving since a transmission change would cost around 150t. Shock with the revelation, I decided to sell it to a car dealer at a bad price. Never will i buy a ford again.
Salamat. Pm me po.
Lumabas na yung New Everest... facelift lang so baka 2014 pa yung All New

Planning to get one with 100k discount, free LTO & free one year insurance.
We feel secured with my wife, then pag nakasakay na mukhang magugustuhan ng mga bata dahil mababa yung salamin at madaling makita ang paligid lalo na sa gawing likod (para kang naka-balcony).
We crossed out some choices because everest seems to offer good spaces, nice interior looks, availability, & the whole package.
I know handling might not be as good as our crossover, pero mas panatag na si Mrs dahil mas malaki ito sa mga pinagpilian namin, type ko rin ang built at size nya (mukhang hindi basta mabubully; I hope so!)
Repairs & maintenance, sabi 5k or 3mos whichever comes first!? I'm confused about this.
Up until tomorrow I might have the decision. Can somebody give me "advice" or "discouragement" about my plan???
Thanks!
Installan mo agad ng aftermarket alarm. Baka mangyari sayo yung nangyari saken, binuksan eve ko at ninakawan ako without the oem (useless) alarm sounding.

Thanks bro for the advice.
Nasa ford kami kanina for our 2nd day of car hunting.
Thanks... Thanks!

Thanks for the encouragement Renz.(smiley)
Excited na rin kahit na-skip yung ibang likes na namis sa new car na plano ko like sunroof, cruise control, alarm or perimeter alarm.
In replacement, we have a car-like-truck rigidity, ample space while travelling, might able to endure door ding/dong while on a park, less worry about astray dogs on the road & fresh looking interior.
Still I welcome "criticism", para naman makasama sa arrangent ng new car ko bago mai-full out sa casa!
Thanks.
Siguro unahin mo na mod, back up sensor with back up camera.
Keep it simple lang.
Ok, I'll keep in mind Renz.
Good thing, sa ngayon mas maganda option ko pag bibyahe to which car is appropriate.
HL or running light during daytime, not a fan of that. Baka mapagkamalan pa akong pulitiko at maambush.hehehe
