I don't have the everest so I can't say. But the explorer has the same radar cruise control feature. Super sulit iyan. I use it more than the auto park feature hehe. Others call it active cruise control.
Oops. I just realized you weren't referring to me hahahahaha.
Active cruise control:
1. You set your desired speed
2. Go on cruise control
3. If the car in front of you slows down, the active cruise control will automatically slow down as well to keep a minimum safe distance from the car in front.
4. If the car in front speeds up again the active cruise control will also speed up (until your set desired speed) while also maintaining a minimum safe distance
5. If a car cuts in front of you it will automatically brake and slow the car down and then speed up again when the traffic clears.
6. You can set the minimum safe distance with a button on the steering wheel.
7. This greatly reduces fatigue in long distance drives as all you have to do is steer.
8. In the manual cruise control of older cars it was too much of a hassle. Youd always have to manually brake, resume control, fiddle with the speed setting depending on the car front, had no collision avoidance, etc. not worth using in our roads. Active cruise control changes all that.
Almost the same ride with LC200 which has R18 tires. It's expected because the front suspension of 2015 Everest & LC is independent double wishbone with coil, while the rear suspension of both SUVs is 4-link with coil springs. Malayo lang sila sa presyo. Hehe..
I thought it was the "Watts Linkage" in the rear suspension that made the New Eve's suspension softer than the current Fort that I rode in sometimes.
I currently own Hyundai Santa Fe 4x2 2013. TIA
We also have the santa fe sa steering parang sports mode ng sta fe sa pedal nman mas malambot sya sa acceleration n torque mganda 3.2 sa ride syempre santa fe pero sa drive parang malapad p sta fe mataas nga lng everest
Ito complete description ng New Everest's rear suspension: Live Axle, 4 bar link, coil springs, Anti-Roll Bar and Watts link. Sa Fortuner ay 4-Link with coil springs and lateral rod kaya possible sabi mo.
Malakas hatak ng makina ng Everest 2.2 ko, malayo sa 2010 Fortuner 2.5 Diesel ko at hindi malayo sa Prado 3.0 Diesel. Sayang ang 4x4 sa city driving.
Ok naman hatak ng Trend 2.2 for me. Baka lang manibago ka coming from a Sta.

Thanks Bro! Can't wait for my unit.

I have driven from batangas to the magallanes toll gates using active cruise control many times. Also from subic to the exit in mindanao avenue. Works wonders for an easy relaxed drive.
It automatically deactivates if your press the brakes and restarts when you press the steering wheel button. It does NoT deactivate if you accelerate manually to overtake. After you lift from the gas it automatically goes back to active cruise mode.
Badtrip nga that the new LC sold locally doesnt have this.
