sir tanung ko lang po gaano kalakas sa gas ang escape 2.3?plano ko po kumuha,compare po sa mga crv,xtrail in terms of gas consumption.TIA

Based on my experience with those crossovers. Escape ang may pinakamataas na FC. PS: all of this figures are based on the same driving habit, route and same traffic situation. 70 hway 30 city.

I'll rephrase it na lang po sir. Escape po ang pinaka malakas mag consume ng gas sa experience namin.

Ganyan din sir nangyari samin 3 weeks ago. Gusto ni insurance sa kanila gagawin yung starex namin. Nag insist kami na sa casa ipapagawa kasi mejo malaki damage and for peace of mind na din. And we don't trust those talyer ng insurance after sa bad experience namin 6 years ago. Ayun pumayag naman si insurance na sa casa ipagawa. :D

Onga sir skin mas gusto ko casa kaso nga lang magbabayad daw ako ng 35% depreciation ksi 6 yrs old na ung unit. Dinala ko na lang sa talyer nila no choice ako kasi wala ako mailalabas na pera, estimate kasi nasa 150k (30% 45k na agad). Mas mataas pa yan sa casa ayun nakakalungkot lang talaga.

I think you have to turn the knob on the right stalk. The one when you switch-on the the main wipers, if I remember it right..

Yung shaft on the right is for the wiper. Yung handle can be turned for the speed at yung pinadulo is for the rear wiper. Turn it clockwise, it will shoot water and swivel 2X the rear wiper. Turn it counter clockwise it will turn on the rear wiper intermittently, 1 more turn will make it continues.

fellow escape owners, what shop will you recommend for under chassis protection. I live in Sta Rosa laguna. If ever i go to this shop, will it affect the warranty? I own a 2012 xlt model.

What exactly under chassis protection your asking, do you mean under coat ? It won't affect your warranty. I think Petron along SLEX do this stuff.

How much is the fair market price right now on a 2009 Escape XLS 2wd with automatic transmission?

So far, I have been reading this thread and I could not find any faults on the Escape, except maybe for a single poster from CDO in which his car has stalling problems. Personally, I think it's a good sign of the quality and dependability of a vehicle if there are very few complaints on public forums like Tsikot. But just to be on the safe side, any advice on what to look out for while checking or test driving the vehicle?

Go for a 2.3 engine rather than 2.0. 2.3 tend to be more economical.

Hey thanks, but I already knew that I also think there were no more 2.0 Escapes after 2006 but I might be wrong.
