congrats sa new ride, what color sir zamoco post naman photos, fuel etc same din ba platform ng mazda bt-50 and ford ranger?

thanks sir teeyoh... color black po. yes same platform mazda and ford but definitely not same dealers strategy with ford. FC is 12.9km/L mix city and hi-way (4 persons inside n size 20 shoes na). guess mag improve pa ito since break-in pa lang.

Tama ka sir cyferion... that applies to the lower model na 2.2 engine. But with the 3.2 model halos the same lang price nila... and to those who are planning to get the ford wildtrak 3.2, you might like to consider these... kumain ng usok at alikabok ko ang wildtrak ng ford yesterday( mazda bt-50 3.2). drove along nctex yesterday and tinapatan ko orange wildtrak. nakakasabay sya upto 160kph... but when increase my acceleration to 180kph, naiwanan na wildtrak.
It may have good looks than bt-50, but it does not have the power to support it....

The BT-50 is a Ford Ranger dressed in Mazda clothes.

The person driving the Wildtrak was probably just driving slower.

Overtaking one doesn't mean its not capable of going faster, it means that he/she is driving slower.

If I may ask zamoco_08, is the Orange Wildtrak you overtook have Ford Pampanga plates? If it does, that's the 2.2 Wildtrak that I posted here before. You'll definitely overtake it. Try racing a white Wildtrak with Ford Alabang plates (James Deakin's Wildtrak) and overtake it, then I'll believe that the BT-50 can outrun the 3.2 Ranger Wildtrak

I do think that the Orange Wildtrak did not want to compete further kasi at 180kph that's a bit dangerous na :P. I do think if he was as reckless as you nakarating parin siya to 180kph. I'm sure though that you and your Mazda BT-50 would win because the Ford Ranger Wildtrak is heavier by around 200kg.

But guys! These are trucks and not race cars. I personally wouldn't care if a BT-50 would beat me all the time.

2.2 Ranger can reach the 200kph given enough road. No doubt the 3.2 version can reach that speed quicker though. :car:

Thanks bossing zam! Congrats! Pasakay nman heheOk din mazda bt 50. Nag test drive ako last sunday. I think same engine siya ng ranger. ?Ok takbo at mabilis. Sa suspension lang siya naiiba.Difference lang ng 4x2 mazda sa 4x2 ranger, leather seat, dual auto climate, stability control and standard parking sensor etc.. I dont know kung my discount 1.350m sa mazda.

hehehe, as ive mentioned in my earlier post sir... its not being reckless. just testing whats under the hood of my new toy. made it to 190km/h...
sorry to offend ranger owners ( if i did thou), i dont mean to race or put down rangers... guess ito pa yun gigil ko sa greedy ford dealers out there... paid for a reservation but, maunahan ka din ng mga kumuha ng in house nila...

I would want to clarify that there are 2 engines of the Ranger Wildtrak here. 2.2 and 3.2. The one that zamoco_08 had outrun might be the Orange 2.2 Wildtrak that I took a pic at and posted here several weeks ago. Since I saw the dealer plates which is Ford Pampanga, and zamoco_08 had outran it in NLEX, there is a big possibility that it might the Orange 2.2 Wildtrak I posted here.
