Major bummer. I hope this problem of yours gets fixed. Just imagine for those paying monthly amortizations tapos tatagal ng 2 weeks or more nakatengga ang sasakyan sa casa. Not to mention the haunting question if the fix is for long term.

The Ranger is rated to carry 1,100 kg of load in its bed, so your 800 kg should be fine.

^ thanks for the info. I was worried the 1100kg was pulling capacity and not the actual load i can put in the bed.

The Ranger's towing capacity is 3,500 kg, or roughly 3 sedans. [emoji108]

That would be for the 3.2 model. How about the 2.2 is it the same?

Mga boss, I would be taking delivery of a 2.2L Wildtrak on Saturday.

Meron ba kayo ma suggest na way para mas hindi matagtag yung ride? I'd be coming from a 2008 Honda Civic kasi. First time pickup user. Plus anung ok din na takip para dun sa likod?

Tsaka kung meron ba ok na rear view camera, na available sa labas?

    Thanks!

If ride comfort was a major concern, you should've gotten the Nissan Navarra with coil spring suspension.

guys just a small update of that Ford ranger 3.2 mt 4x4 that had tranmission problems.. Ford alabang has said that there are 3 bolts on the transmission that has caused that problem.. as for what bolts they are i have no idea..it could be the bolts holding the transmission up.. meaning the problem could be inside the transmission...the ranger pickup though has been in Ford alabang almost a month.

It was not really a major concern, I was really after the looks and the ride height hehe. Any means to improve the ride quality would be an added bonus hehe.

replace oem shocks with dobinsons... more or less will cost you 40k+ front and rear.. with 2.5" lift na din...

pero malaki ang improvement sa ride comfort... better na cya sa navarra....

this morning they were told that Ford santa rosa doesnt have the tools or the capability to check the Ranger. so they were advised to take it to ford alabang.. with a p5000 fee for taking it there..

question is now.. with the Ranger clearly still under warranty what rights do they have? and 2nd what could be wrong with such a new car.. Ford Santa rosa mentioned they might have to take down the engine and transmission..and lastly does anyone have any experinced with this problem?

    thank you so much guys..

Not quite a headache for me coz it's a company car Explorer up here in Houston, just waste of time when glitches occur.

Puro plastic gromets lang yan sir. Pull up mo lang yung center pin nung gromet using a slim flat type screw driver and then pull out the whole gromet out. If i remember right there are 8 of them on the top cover. Pag natanggal mo na top plastic cover makikita mo na lahat ng need mo alisin to remove the radiator grill. Installation should just be the reverse.

Thanks for the reply, does this mean that once matanggal na yung top plastic cover, all clips sa grill is very much visible?

Yes. Basta if it still does not come out then that means meron pa natitira na di mo nakita. Just do a 360 degree check.
