Hard to say how I get it. But on the most cars I drive here and in Europe I get good FC. Mostly easy on accelerator and brakes. Letting car to "glide" on the road if possible. Also not using the AC all the time helps. If you know you will stay at one place over 10 seconds, you turn off the engine.

That's at least 11.8 km/L in city driving if you get 950 km on an 80L tank. I've been using Unioil Diesel too and I find this unbelievable. What's the average speed recorded on your trip computer?

I only get similar figures on mostly provincial highway driving with an average speed of 32 kph. Kindly share your driving style, I'd like to have similar FC as yours

Normal lang yan. Why not, mabenta pa rin naman siya even if it's 10k higher. Just going with the flow of inflation and unrelenting demand.

3. Very easy to be recognised on parking by mall as its higher than other cars and blue shines nicely.
4. Compare to our previous car(Innova) the other drivers do give us much more respect, even the ones like jepney, taxi, lorry and bus drivers are not too aggressive anymore.
6. Someone mentioned smoke from exhaust. I can confirm that as well, but only on full acceleration, a bit of black smoke. Normally you see no smoke whatever.

Still almost a rare pickup here in Cavite especially the color blue.
Typical pinoy drivers give more respect to newer or bigger cars.
Experienced that as well.

Sa Ford PH site's price list, most ranger units nagtaas ng 10k.
Maliit na halaga sa buyer malaking profit naman sa dealer dahil sa demand. Wise move.

morning guys. some 2.2 owners raised the drive train problem issue. anyone here experienced the same thing too? one owner said this only occur on 2.2 engines, 4x4 and 4x2 variants. thus, ford halts the production of 2.2. most of the complainants are XLT 2.2 owners. Lemons? i fear for my unit (XLT also) although wala pa naman ako experience similar to this.
btw, according to him problem will start with erratic idling. then engine will shudder and will eventually shuts off. then the power drive train indicator appears and the engine won't start anymore. ---i can imagine the horror--- (cue Psycho music theme.)

Saw this on the Ranger FB page. I don't buy it.

The 2.2 engine isn't new - it's been used on Ford Transits in Europe for a few years now, and those vans take lots of abuse.

I think they are making changes because of the demand, balita ko rin they will remove the 2.2 wildtrak from their lineup, so only 3.2 wildtrak will be available soon. :'(

Sir check nyo yung recirculate sqitch/button ng aircon. Baka naka-off. Usually katabi ng aircon button ito. Dalawa setting nyan. Free flow, ibig sabihin pumapasok hangin sa labas para suppposedly "fresh" ang hangin at yung recirculate na ikot lang sa loob ng kotse ang hangin. Also, if you dont know, mas mabilis lumamig ang aircon pag naka recirculate ka kasi same hangin yung pinapalamig ng aircon.

Sa probinsya lang ako naka free flowing kasi malinis hangin pero dito sa maynila always recirculate dahil sa tindi ng pollution.

Mga sirs, meron na ba sa inyo nakaencounter ng sound na parang "tin can na ki-nrumple" while driving? Only happened once and if I'm not mistaken, the sound came from the lower part of the dashboard.

Nangyari iyon sa akin while driving uphill at a constant speed (3rd gear I believe) from Sta. Rosa to Tagaytay. I would just like to hear if meron na nakaencounter sa inyo and how to replicate if ever? Only happened to me once pa lang kasi and before going to casa, gusto ko makaprovide ng further details or replicate the issue.

I think that this might have to do with the transmission since meron sila ginawa doon lately. Just want to make sure though as I could be wrong as it might have been caused pala by other components. Thanks in advance!

Guys, how do you keep your cargo safe and secure sa bed? Any tips? Like ropes, net, etc... san nyo binili? I'm not planning on getting a roller lid for my Wildtrak kasi. Pero yung mga times na may susunduin sa airport tapos may ilalagay na luggage sa likod. Pag road trips tapos may mga ilalagay na kung ano ano sa bed ano ginagawa nyo para hindi magulo yung bed and secure cya? Sorry first time pick-up truck user here.
