i was of the belief that 'merican food servings were usually more generous than local servings.

there's this local saying from decades back,
"sa 'merica, dollar ang kita, at dollar din ang gastos".

there is, however one thing that, to me, generally seems to be better if the item were purchased in usa.
quality.
it would seem, consumers' rights are stronger there, so's sellers are more mindful of their product quality.

back in the day,
we would open the balikbayan box shipped by slower surface mail.
we would swear the aroma was... american.
heh heh.

ako convert talaga hahaha! I ordered a large pizza and salad for $60. Converted that's over P3k!

Sa Angel's 2 pizza P500 lang hahaha! Pati quarter pounder meal dito equivalent to P500 at isang pirasong Auntie Anne's pretzel equivalent to P250

Pero mas masarap naman talaga at mas malaki servings pero pag naiisip ko yung kain naman sa casual dining restaurants, fine dining level na sa Pilipinas

definitely doc. Pati made in China products nila mas maganda quality for some reason. I love that balikbayan box smell too! Wala naman sa other Asian and European countries that smell? It really makes me wonder ano meron sa US bakit ang bango ng hangin nila. Nung winter mas amoy ko ang bango ng hangin
