Shakey's definitely has some of the slowest service in the world...no matter which branch or where!

Sad to hear about Cabalen, have yet to have a bad experience there... although the service is a bit slow.

drive thrus in general..

for me, the whole point you used the drive thru is coz you're in a hurry and you don't want to get off your car na and prefer to take it home.. or eat while driving...

ang bad trip is yung minsan, yung ibang customers on the drive thru.. ang haba ng listahan ng order.. as in 3 - 4 big plastic bags hindi pa kasama ang drinks... tuloy humahaba ang pila... tumatagal sa pila.. makes me wana just park and just walk inside to the regular counters and order...

minsan pa.. may umorder ng item na kailangan pa mag hintay.. drive thru yun ah.. hindi yata kasama sa training ng mga drive thru staff na kung puwede tanunging yung guest kung okay lang na i park na lang nya yung sasakyan nya instead of waiting while still on the drive thru line....

Da Best ung Ihaw-Ihaw sa Delta, Quezon Ave. 2 hours na yata kaming naghihintay di man lang kami nakuhanan ng order..leche.. Lumipat kami sa Max Restaurant Quezon Ave din..ayun nabusog din masmura pa!

Sa Shakey's wala naman akong natatandaang slow service..except sa mejo late na pagrefill ng drinks.

Yong cashier yong nagtanong sa mga waiter... kung may order na kami, hand signal ang isinagot, tumango na lang sya..

Umalis na lang kami.

KFC, lagi may mali, its either nakalimutan ang gravy, sa deliver

o mali ang type ng chicken, o mali ang bilang ng chicken basta may mali.

kabalen naman, walang kalatuy latuy ang food, mas masarap pa ang luto ng misis ko...

Problems with KFC vary with the branch... but I've noticed that overall, KFC branches in "ma-squatter" places are more prone to laxity in cleanliness than comparable McDonald's and Jollibee branches... ang greasy ng floors nila! (in general)

Both Shakey's and Pizza Hut have a tendency to take a long time, with Shakey's being relatively worse. Bad trip lang ako sa Pizza Hut na inevitably burned palagi ang mga pasta orders.

I can't share many more horror stories... usually, konting bad trip ko lang sa restaurant, di ko na binibigyan ng second chance... I only go to one restaurant every week nowadays, medyo mura din kasi at ambait ng manager... (shameless plug) ...causeway sa may libis... pero lagi naming inaantay yung discounted P38 na dimsum after 9pm. :D :D :D

di kaya yung mga ganitong style ng waiter eh M.O. nila para pabagsakin yung establishment? unionized kaya ang mga companies na to at grabe ang mga waiter? hmmm...

yan din hirap kung yung may ari ay hindi hands on... tapos wala pang sistema ang pagpapatakbo ng operations...

yung via mare sa landmark, yung uniform nila ay mdyo similar dun sa mga "car wash" boys sa may rockwell and park square! yung green/blue combination. haha!

have you tried " aku " restaurant?...they are the worse in food in service!...
one time kumain kami sa may lasalle , nag order ako ng sweet and sor fish with rice, 1 hour na wala pa din order namin, sinabi ng kaibigan ko sa waiter na "anu ba yan? baka wala pa yata kayo nahuhuling isda ah" hehe...after 5 min. bigla lumabas, after that day, i vow never to go back at any brance of " aku"... peace!

ako d ko naman napapansin lahat ng mga ganyan sa mga restaurants ang badtrip lang sa lahat ng restaurants (except fast foods) is yung kapag kami lang mga barkada ang nagoorder ang sasama nila tumingin sa amin as if d kami magbabayad after namin kumain. tapos pagdating ng bill (syempre ambag sa bayad) binibilang pa mismo sa harap namin then tsaka sasabihin ok na sir. badtrip wala tiwala sa mga teenager na customer!!!

was in cabalen glorietta last night. the lechon seemed spoiled. i only took one bite, couldn't even swallow it. if i had read this thread earlier.....

OTOH i can heartily recommend plato platino (both bluewave and jupiter branches) if you're after good service. the pasta is pretty good too!

Ma mun lok, syet just finished a bowl of their mami when i got curious kung ano yung floating small object sa soup... upon closer scrutiny... leg ng maliit na ipis... found 3 legs in all... almost threw up... kaya pala masarap ang lintek na ma mun lok na yun... may secret pala...
