    Max's SM Bacoor Branch, re fried yung chiken na ibinigay sa amin dati tapos maanta pa yung mantikang nagamit nila, saka pansin ko lang 'yung chiken nila malaki lang ng kaunti sa kalapati, minsan naman sa barrio fiesta sa SM Southmall, pag tayo ko, nasabit yung pantalon ko sa rattan chair nila, napunit yung pants ko, tapos dedma lang yung manager, ni hindi man lang nag sorry sa nangyari, di naman pwede tahiin kasi wool yung pants ko, nakakainis

    I never returned to Via Mare after they double swiped my credit card. That's the only place where I've had double billing on my credit card. That was 7-10 years ago.

    It's an M.O. of some restaurants, specially bars, to pad the bills. They spot the ones who are drunk or are showing off to their dates / guests.

    What we do is complain to the waiter that the bill is wrong without telling them the spcific item. They just get the bill and the cashier just removes the added items (which are conveniently stapled at the bottom of the bill). Usually the padded items are drinks / beers.

    was just at BAGABERDE bar and grille (tabi ng Nipa Hut dyan sa may likod ng ULTRA)... i was with my girlfriend... pinanood namin south border... after their set.. we went to the non airconditioned area for dinner (past midnight na to)... so kain kami .. nung hiningi ko na yung bill... bukod sa ang tagal nang lumabas eh... may naka pad na 2 mango shake worth about 140 pesoses... nireklamo ko sa waiter... sabi ko tignan mo nga mesa namin kung may nilapag kang mango shake.. ang idinadahilan nya ay baka may ibang waiter ang gumamit ng table number namin... sabi ko imposible na umorder ako ng mango shake.. eh kanina nung tumutugtog yung south border ang pagkakasabi ng bar eh wala ng mango shake... pakwan shake lang daw.. anak naman ng ewan oo...

    again.. it's BAGABERDE bar and grill.... beside nipa hut .. sa may likuran ng ULTRA sa pasig..

    dagdag ko pa... kasi during the set of south border eh naka SRO.. so kami ng gf ko dun sa may labasan ng kitchen area nila... almost katabi lang namin yung cashier area nila.. at yung bar area... umorder ako ng mango shake sa bar.. sabi wala na daw.. pakwan lang... so i ended up ordering 2 mango juices... nagbayad at nasuklian... itinago ko yung resibo....

    nung ni reklamo ko yung waiter na nag pad ng 2 mango shake.. pinakita ko yung resibo ko ng mango juice na dalwa.. kinuha nung water... .. nung bumalik na sya with the correct billing eh hiningi ko uli yung naunang resibo.. ang sabi ba naman eh di daw pwede at baka daw singilin sya dun sa mango shake... yung resibo ko daw gagawin nyang ebidensya na nagkamali... labo talaga...

    one time kumain kami sa mexican tia maria, aside from the specialty of the H, umorder ako
    ng maliit na mix-platter, yung sinerve sa min extra large...sabi ko sa waiter pakipalitan ng maliit kasi yun ang order ko, saka sobra sa amin yun (we were only 3), hindi na daw pwede palitan kasi nailuto na daw, sa kanya daw macha-charge pag pinalitan, "e tarantado ka pala eh ikaw ang nagkamali tapos ako pagdudusahin mo" the people around quickly had their eyes on us when i raised my voice, saka lang pinalitan hehe. The food wasn't bad afterall, yung waiter lang ang bullshit.

    sir totoybato 3 kinds and chicken ng max, baka naman spring chicken un binili niyo na good for 1 to 2 person lang... hehehe i dunno dun pa naman kami bumili ng 5 na chicken para ipadala overseas hahaha

    isa pa na naiinis ako ay mga fast food o 7/11 - Ministop places... kung wala silang barya kulang isusukli

    nung isang araw bumili ako sa 7/11. sukli ko dapat 9.50 tinanong ako kung may 50c ako sabi ko wala... sinukli sakin P9.00

    sabi ko, teka lang, bakit ako pa magaabono ng .50c eh kayo ang walang sukli!? kung sa 100 na tao nyo gagawin yan edi naka P50 na kayo na extra, may cash register pa kayo kung wala rin kayo panukli.

    ayun, sinuklian ako ng P10.

    it's not about the 50c, but di matututo mga hayup na kahera kung pinapabayaan lagi...

    one time sa jamaican patties sa robinsons ganun din, bumili ako 4pcs, ewan ko kung magkano yun, basta sukli ko 300+ sabi sakin "ser wala kayong barya, wala akong panukli eh"

    sabi ko, wala, tapos sabay kagat sa isang patty para di na mabalik.

    sabi pa naman sakin, pwedeng pabarya nyo po sa greenwich, wala kasing magtatao kung umalis ako...

    aba hayup... binalik ko yung patty na di ko kinain, kinuha ko 500 ko sabi ko sa kanya, kung di ka bumalik sa 3 minuto na may sukli aalis ako dito. di ko hihintayin ang stall mo magkaroon ng benta bago mo ako susuklian.

    aba, nagtatatakbo naghanap ng pampalit sa 1000 nya...

    ogags din minsan mga may ari ng stalls, di nagbibigay ng panukli.

    Hehehe. Pareho pala tayo theveed! Madalas na dialogue nila ay, "Sir, ok lang ba kung kulang ako ng P1.00 or more?", madalas ko ring sabihin, "Hindi eh kasi ibibigay ko yung sukli sana sa watch-your-car-boy.".

    Tsaka susme naman, nag-nenegosyo walang panukli!

    Kahapon lang yung kasama ko sa Jamaican sa Greenbelt ganon din kulang ng 2 pesos... Di na niya kinuha. Sayang daw laway niya.

    Kala yata nung cashier basta basta na lang 2 pesos. Isang yosi din yun. Hehe.

    Ah... didn't want to be the first to say anything, as I've only been to two other Oodys' just once or twice... but food prep is kinda slow.

    i sympathize with the restaurant coz i own one (plugging) Twin Onion grill & restaurant mac arthur highway Tarlac City, we serve delicious baby back ribs=)
    kasi admittedly we've commited some errors na din spilling drinks sa customer, mabagal service, but we dont serve stale food, its a big no-no we check food we serve daily, pero whatever critism our valued clients would say we would welcome them as a constructive critism for us to improve

    You cannot expect really good service from 5-month contractual waiters, kahit gaano sila kagaling, sibak sila after 5 months, so there is no incentive to excel.

    But there is no excuse for incompetent managers.

    Max restaurants naka strike 3 na sa amin yan.

    Strike 1: May ipinasyal akong mga balikbayan (16 lahat kami) sa Max sa malapit sa Makati Ave; nasarapan sa sotanhon at puto yung isa kong guest at nag-request ng extra puto.

    Sabi ba naman nung manager hindi pwede puto lang orderin kailangan daw kasama ang sotanghon:o

    Sabi nung friend ko sa kanya: "Alam mo, may pakiramdam ako na hindi na kami uli kakain dito"

    Strike 2: Max sa Santa Lucia Mall, Valentines Day nun pero galing lang kami sa supermarket at naghahanap ng makakainan. Madaming tao sa Max.

    Ginawa nung manager imbes na ilista mga pangalan ng gusto kumain in chronological order para organized ang turnover; bahala na daw yung gusto maupo at tumayo nalang sa likod ng mga kumakain at hintayin daw matapos!!!

    Strike 3: Max sa Southmall: Nakita ko yung nakapaskelna promo nila na merienda combo at naisip namin kumain dun. Nung inorder ko yung combo wala na daw yun.

    Tanong ko bakit nakapaskel pa sa labas yung promo kung wala naman sila ibibigay. Sabi na lang sa akin pwede naman daw umorder ng ala-carte sa menu; tinanong ko kung kasama na yung soda at rice dun; extra daw yun

    Buhat nun sinumpa ko na Max. Kulang sa training ang mga manager nila.

    Pero sama talaga ng lasa ng food sa Cabalen.

    kamay kainan sa west aave.wag na wag kayo kakain.hehehe.. lage ako nagtata* pag diyan kumakaen.. mura kasi 200 per head eat all you can.. pero CR ka naman ng CR next day.. namputs!

    Shakeys: madalas malamig na yung sine-served nilang pagkain.

    Cabalen: di nga makain yung pagkain nila..ewan lang sa West Ave branch nila? (daming tao lagi eh).

    ginagawa ko kasi, pag nag-bibigay ako ng tips sa waiter..dun sa waiter na mismo..(simple lang pag-abot) sabay, tanong ng pangalan at lagi dun lang sa isang waiter.(para matandaan ka) ..para pag balik mo..sa pinto palang ..sasaludo na sayo at asikaso ka na niyan..hehehe :lol:

    Sabihin ko lang din to avoid take-out from Mang Inasal. They put their take-out orders piping hot straight onto the styrofoam container! Food grade naman daw yun. Sabi ko naman kahit food grade pa yun, ayaw ko kumain ng tunaw na styro!

    I take out lots and so far, more than half the places put hot food straight onto styros and plastic bags!!! Grrr ...

    Chick-boy in Jupiter. Had lunch last September and we're 9 in our group. The chicken parts where burnt - sunog yung itsura, yung banana leaves na pang wrap sa kanin laspag, and it took me and some of my classmates time just to refil yung iced tea at yung unli rice nila. Tas amoy mo pa yung niluluto sa cooking place!! Madaming tao at that time and just had Three cups of rice there, unlike sa Insal na nakakaabot ako ng Three and a half or four.

    On a separate occasion, yung classmate ko kumain diyan with her brother plus his friends has same comments as mine.

    Mas maganda pa ang service ng Mang Inasal few blocks away. Mabilis mag serve, courteous employees (they nearly know us), at prompt. Been there Five times with classmates and will be back soon. I had commended them sa Facebook fan page nila.

    Dagdag niyo na rin yung Yellow Cab sa Hampton Gardens Pasig, nearly madulas ang floor. Tas greasy ang pagkain (which is generally true)

    Cyma sa ATC....

    Wifey and myself were already inside and were sitting comfortably, and reading the menu, when the manager approached us, saying that the table was reserved and we have to sit outside, where it is not airconditioned.... Mano ba namang nag-offer na lang siya ng isang maliit na table sa loob where we can have our fill,- e maluwag pa naman ang lugar?

    Minsan, niyaya ako ng best friend kung kumain doon,- sabi ko,- walang kwenta ang customer service diyan,- sa iba na lang tayo kumain.... Their loss.
