work related naman iyan hindi barkada outing so i understand his/her gripes. baka when push comes to shove hindi nagsasama pa iyong mga iyan sila sa office.
in the same vein, when i used to organize out-of -town dayos for my tennis club, i make sure to be clear those who are riding along or hitchhiking would share in the expenses of the driver/ vehicle owner (incentive na din siya para may mag-dala ng sasakyan kasi otherwise pahirapan iyan ) . aside from the expected pms the driver /owner of the vehicle would incur prior to the trip, sobrang laki ng sacrifice ng nag mamaneho ah. hindi na nga makababad sa pag-lalaro dahil nakakapagod mag maneho to and fro the opponent's home court (especially iyong pauwi dahil halos lahat may tulog na pasahero) , hindi pa makaka-take part sa pag-inom socials.
pero kung w/in manila lang ang dayo, nasa good graces na nung may-ari ng sasakyan ang arrangement. pero usually mga nakaka-intindi at galante naman mga tao sa club namin kaya nag-ooffer na sila ng kusa to somewhat spread the "burden"... and we do this because we all know, accept, and understand that we are part of a team kaya kami nagtutulungan.
