That is what we used to do. Planning pa lang ng outing kasama na yung fuel and toll sa budget, each driver will get money for gas and toll. Although there are team travel na hindi planned that you just have to swallow the cost, swerte na lang at I have an officemate na sya na mag-offer mag bayad ng toll.

Same officemate na pag naki sabay sa kin pag uwi eh papadaanin ako sa drive thru and will buy a meal for the 2 of us. Masarap maging kaibigan ang may hiya.

If his officemates knew etiquette then they would offer to split the cost of gas and toll. They shouldn't even wait for the car owner to ask them to contribute.

If they insist and the car owner refuses they should repay the gesture somehow (food or token) Mas turn off yung hindi alam and rules of etiquette

Diba usually may shuttle service naman basta company activity? Most likely the person prefers to drive for convenience and the othe officemate wanted to take the chance to hitch as well. I bet the perspective would be different if the officemate was a crush. [emoji7]
